At first this seemed like a great product. I finally noticed that theres is a back ground humming noise that is really bad in surround mode. I tried different quality wiring to no avail. Remote control is ridiculous and almost useless.

For the price, the Dynavox Acoustabar is a decent soundbar. It delivers rich SRS sound. It is bass heavy & the audio properties aren't very customizable. I use it w/ my HD projector & it works great.

After purchasing the older Dynavox model of this, (I had humming problems also!) This model works well. I can't help wondering about this humming issue? The reviewer here has the newer model and has humming issues? When talking with rep they mention that it,(the older model)is not compatible with an optical tv? To make a long story short, they got me to upgrade to this model and all is well, but... I can't help thinking their is something wrong here!
I was ready to give this a good review until I saw the only other review on this model has the same problems the older one had. So needless to say I am a little suspicous about all this.
If this one holds up for a decent amount of time I will be happy with this purchase. Good bass, good midrange and dialog is improved alot. The remote is not great but I can live with that.
I hope the above customer can get his problems resolved but I would have to reconsider going with Dynavox again because of my issues, others issues and the reasons they give for them.
