Excellent keyboard - Seems incredibly sturdy and the backlight works well with the large print. Nice to have a choice of red, blue, or purple. This is the ONLY keyboard I have seen (in this price range) that has a FULL SIZE backspace key. If you've ever tried using the one with the half size it can be annoying, especially when they place another key beside it which is typical.

**IMPORTANT NOTE - "Off" Button
The instructions are scant - not a big deal - but I've had this for several weeks and FINALLY just now figured out how to turn this thing off. It's the SAME BUTTON you use to switch LED colors - only you hold it down for about 3 seconds. I looked for this in the instructions and could not find it - although LEDs are long-life bulbs - I use my computer only a couple of hours a day, so I worried having it on for 22 extra hours per day would severely decrease the functional life of the keyboard. Problem solved - hold the color change button down until it turns off - same button turns it back on.

Finally - there are four rubber feet towards the front of the keyboard that do an awesome job of keeping it in place. The back has two small feet that you can flip up to raise the back of the keyboard. The palm rest that sits in front of the keyboard is not intended for removal - with some effort it might be removed (can't tell if it just snaps on or not) but it is a molded piece of plastic that runs around the entire top edge of the keyboard - if you removed it you would also be removing the part of the cover that encloses the media/shortcut keys at the very top of the keyboard - the row with the function keys (F1, F2 etc) would not be affected.

Overall a fantastic keyboard for the price - highly recommended!

So I just got this keyboard and plugged it in maybe 2 minutes ago. I can't get over how BIG the keys are! I almost feel like the keys are bigger than standard keys in order to facilitate the GIANT lettering. If you can't read this keyboard in daylight or at night, you need to turn in your diver's license and buy a braille keyboard. I feel like I'm going to have to get used to typing on such a large keyboard as my last one was rather small. Ultimately, I got this keyboard so I wouldn't have to keep a light on while I'm working late at night. Sure, I can touch type, but do you remember where the page up button is in the dark? There's a certain curvature to the base of the keyboard that I'm going to need to get used to as well. I feel like it's made to be used with a hand rest instead of flat on the desk. The keys are good but not great for fast typing, so I wouldn't recommend this keyboard for someone who is typing professionally. For someone like me looking to surf the web at 2am in the dark, it's perfect.

This is a great backlit keyboard if you dont want to spend $60+ for one. Im a casual gamer with not so great eyesight, so this suits my needs great. The keys arent 'clicky' or 'squishy', its right in the middle of the two and not noisy at all. The full sized keys dont require a whole lot of pressure to push like the cheap ones you might get when you buy a new PC. The colors arent too loud for me at night. My only COMPLAINT is that you HAVE to have the lights on unless youre in a very well lit room. No big deal for me. I havent figured out the multimedia keys yet so I cant comment on that except that they pop up a calculater, media player and Windows PC Explorer. Duribility - Im not a crazy typer so the keys will only see moderate use at best. Only time will tell.

EDIT - ONE MONTH LATER. Now that Ive used it for a bit I can point out subtle problems. 1. Somewhat 'tacky' or spongey typing. I wouldnt recommend this keyboard for a fast typer. I am not, so it's not a problem. My wife however is and noticed it right away. 2. Somewhat noisy keys. Clicky.

Also, Ive had to prop up the back of the keyboard to make it easier to type(press) the keys. Otherwise, I'll hit other other keys too frequently.

So I went from a 4 to 3 stars. Summary - Its not bad for the $30 I paid, shipping included. You get what you pay for. The colors are pretty I guess, lol.

I ordered this keyboard since I work at home early in the mornings and my undershelf is rather dark. I had installed an led light but it really wasn't sufficient for my needs. I also do not touch type so I have to be able to see the keys. This is the perfect keyboard for me. The letters are nice and big and they are also quite bright without being annoying. The light is even across the keyboard without dark areas near the edges that I expected. My only complaint is that the hot key images are rather small and hard to see. Not that I use them often. Would I recommend this board? Oh yes. You can't beat the price which makes it a great value. Also the tri-color is a nice added touch. Just pick the one your most comfortable with.

I really hated to send this keyboard back. The backlighting, in any of 3 colors, is great. But the feel of the keyboard is vastly different from a standard keyboard. The keys are about 1/2 the height of keys on a regular keyboard. This is much closer to a laptop keyboard than a standard full-sized keyboard. My fingers were sliding all over the thing! If you prefer a keyboard where each key is a distinct object, rather than being flush with adjoining keys, you will not like this keyboard. But if you're used to typing on a laptop, then you may well think this is a wonderful keyboard.

I really like the easy read letters and the back-lighting of this keyboard. However, due to the design, more and more keys of the keyboard were sticking if the keys were not pressed exactly in the center of each key. This faulty design continued to get worse with more use. After three months, I was ready to trash it and look for a new keyboard.

In a last-ditch effort, I pulled all the primary keys off and used a Q-tip and petroleum jelly to lubricate the slots where all the keys are installed. Once I snapped all the keys back in place....WOW....THIS WAS THE PERFECT KEYBOARD. It now works very smoothly and I still enjoy the benefit of the back-lighting and easy read letters. I wish I had done this easy fix when I first received it.

I put the 1-star on this review so people can learn how to easily fix this keyboard themselves in only a few minutes. After the fix, I would give it 5-stars.

Needed new keyboard for my home office, wanted one that was easier for me to see, (Now senior citizen), liked the idea of large letters on the keyboard and was backlit so I can use it in low light. I wasn't disappointed, loved the ability to change the colors, found that the purple one was easiest on the eyes. Would absolutely get this again if needed

It is perfect for someone with a visual impairment. The led lights are very bright and come with three different colors, grat blue is sort of soothing. The red is probably the brightest but a little unnerving. The purple with is really pink great for the ladies though it is also the dullest.

The keys are large and great for typing, probably made for the seeing impaired or just want to .There are also buttons I have not seen In most others.I notice a home buton, a music button, and a volume control .I have yet to try them all so I can on so I can only speculate that they are as useful as the ones n I have tried.

There are a few minor problems such as the keys getting stuck. That stopped a few days after use.It is rather bulky so traveling with this may be a little
ackward.

Over all I was impressed and would recomend it to a person for casual surfing.Hard core gamers might enjoy it for midnight raids.Overall It is solid peace
of hard ware. I will give it 8 out of ten, just dont give up on it if some keys stick at first.
