About the Author
José María Aznar, Prime Minister of the Spanish government between 1996 and 2004, began his political career as a tax inspector and was elected to the Congress of Deputies in 1982. From 1987-1989, he was appointed President of the Council of Castile and Leon, after which he became head of the Popular Party (PP). He has also been President of the Centrist Democrat International. In 2003, Aznar decided not to run again for the presidency of his party and his counry. He has since accpeted a position as Distinguished Scholar at Georgetown University. Aznar is married and has three children.

Great Book of Aznar,

José María Aznar was President of the Spanish Government while I was in college, and I was fascinated by him. A great example of leadership. In this book Aznar reviews his tenure in office and analyzes every single point that affected Spain back then, and still does. Not flawless though, he tries to explain to the reader why his beliefs in some subject, like the autonomous states of Spain (such as Cataluña), are the best solutions for Spain's future. This book is part of my leadership collection right next to "Leadership" by Giuliani. Fantastic!!!!!
