Do you feel...dark?,

The Batcave era spawned so many unique bands--Specimen was one. Probably the most tuneful of the Batcave bands, Specimen comes on like a combination of at least four Bowie albums--the glam Aladdin Sane, the dark Diamond Dogs, the funky Station to Station and the edgy Heroes. If you like Bowie, you will love Specimen!

All I can say is this;Whoever brought the band's "Wet Warm, Clingfilm, Red Velvet Crush" CD should buy this one as well! The two live tracks on this disc, "Wolverines" and "AZOIC" are superior to the live tunes on the other Specimen CD.It has all of the same songs, but the long versions on AZOIC are worlds better! This is the band that invented Gothic Rock as we know it today!! This is what true Goth should sound like! Ideal for playing at graveyard orgies under pale moonlight!! No Goth fan should be without it!! Get your copy in time for next Halloween!! It was the best investment I ever made!!
