LUV Gary Jennings
Always count on Gary Jennings to be a great author!! His books are really something special! They make GREAT Gifts! I have purchased several to complete my collection, from Amazon.

Good, but not Gary Jennings.....
While some of Gary Jennings novels are among my all time favorites, this one doesn't quite make it. No doubt, the book is good, but the character development is not on par with previous novels. Of course, that is because Gary Jennings didn't really write this book. I have read the entire Aztec series and each one will always be compared to the first, the original,...

While some of Gary Jennings novels are among my all time favorites, this one doesn't quite make it. No doubt, the book is good, but the character development is not on par with previous novels. Of course, that is because Gary Jennings didn't really write this book. I have read the entire Aztec series and each one will always be compared to the first, the original, which was awesome to say the least.....If you like the series and the story lines, you should read this one. It does move fast with a lot of quick and short chapters. I would have loved to see a mini-series based off the original Aztec or the Journeyer.

Another in the Gary Jennings historical novels about Mexico. His books are all very good, filled with action both on the field of honor, battle and bed. All of this set in some prominent historical time in Mexico, Good reading.
