This cable will work if you dont need anything special for your bike... The 2 picture shows you 2 cables but there is only one in the pack so dont look at the sec. picture. i would have given this 3 STARS but because of the wrong info on picture i gave it 2....

These teflon cables are good. They move smoothly and are quite thin, unlike traditional cables. But if you cut them and try to re-run them, they are not as sturdy as traditional cables and begin to come undone. You have to be precise and exact and cut them and fasten them ONCE. Otherwise they'll flake and have to get more for teh 2nd 0r 3rd try. The cable covers supplied are not enough as others have mentioned, and nobody carries cable covers that thin, so you have to order more... and try again. Stick to Shimano or other general cables and covers if you won't get it on the first try. And even if you do measure, they don't give you much cable covering for errors.

I installed one of these after destroying a Gore Ride-on cable and to be honest, this cable shifts better and more precisely. Must be the pre-stretching. I usually don't write reviews but while riding today I realized just how much I appreciated the smooth shifting after many months of hard use.

Installed this on hybrid conversion after I accidentally cut the cable to my front shifter too short. The Teflon coating seems to make shifting easier. It comes one cable per package so if you need to replace both cables order two.

Aztec teflon coated bie gear cable inner wire works perfectly inside the lined brake cable housing to provide a very smooth braking experience on my single-speed bike. By using this thinner cable with super-slick coating and corrosion resistance, positive braking is ensured for much longer than with traditional cables/housing.

This gear cable is exactly what my Trek 6000 needed. It was easy to install and so far is doing the job well. I had to make my own "end cap" for one side of the cable though as only one side is already ended and I didn't see another one to install myself after I wired the cable with my bike.
