I bought this CD while on vacation in Cabo and have loved it ever since. Great blend of Spanish guitar, with overtones of Flamenco and Brazilian influences. Buy it and play it at your next get-together with friends and I guarantee someone will ask you where you got it. If you're also looking for another artist along similar lines, I recommend Govi.

I have a decently sized collection of "nouveau flamenco" (Gypsy Kings, Ottmar Liebert, Shahin & Sepehr, Strunz & Farah, Armik, etc.), and I can say hands down that "Azucar" by Guido Luciani is the GEM of the lot! Why aren't there more albums by this VERY talented artist? The range of styles exhibited by Luciani on "Azucar" are just staggering in their variety, and yet each new style is presented with a tremendous combination of dexterity and sensitivity. It's weird to me that I found this album in one of those "compilation" displays in which most of the albums offered are predictable and mundane. "Azucar" stood out like a sore thumb in that collection!

I don't want to overstate this music...but WOW!
We sure you stand to hear a lot more from this artist!

This CD is awesome! It is very easy to listen to! I can listen to it for hours on end. It's relaxing music that is fitting for any occasion -Alone time, Dinner, Parties, Study Time, whatever!
I'd recommend this CD to anyone and everyone!

We enterain at the house alot. This CD is always in the mix.
We have big parties with 100 Plus people. A track from this CD comes on and people dance. They ask who it is and I tell them.

Guido Luciana is a Master Guitarist. His compositions are both Fire and Ice. "DUSK" left me shivering. This collection of tracks contains something for everyone. From soft and languid to body-twitching power. If you like the "Spanish Guitar" sound of music, this C/D was made just for you.... Azucar,..Sugar,...It is that, AND MORE !

A friend of my brother's accidentally left this CD over his house. What an addicting CD! For any pure music lover this is a must have. He mixes jazz with a classical guitar and great beats. Also, the most impressing thing is his ability to change styles throughout the album. No one song sounds alike!

Clear, crisp, full range of latin rythms. Listening pleasure for the guitar purist.

I ordered this cd on a whim at [...] based on the reviews that highly recommended it. I was originally looking for another cd and Amazon.com gives you other choices that you might like that are similar to your original search. I am so glad I took the time to look at the other choices because I found Azucar, ordered it, and it is my favorite cd I have purchased this year so far. The music is simply amazing!

Wonderful array of musical melodies with a hip traditional spanish flare. Particularly love Capricorn.
