4.0 out of 5 stars Don't Expect Any Help From the Instruction Booklet.
I learned how to play this game by trial and error, and it's an okay role-playing game. I'm familiar with the PC version and Nintendo got the gist of this large-scope game crammed into the Game Boy pretty well. There are lots of things the instruction booklet doesn't tell you, like how to move creatures into your army once you've recruited them into your garrison. I...

3.0 out of 5 stars Game Boy Handles This Laborious Game Well.
When I say laborious, I really mean it. The graphics are good and the menus are easy to access and see, but that does not make up for the irritating premise of the game itself. The fact that you can only take five objects into the tower and you always start back at level 1 is annoying, but you can power up if you hang in there long enough. Unfortunately, you can never...

There are lots of things the instruction booklet doesn't tell you, like how to move creatures into your army once you've recruited them into your garrison. I was highly annoyed when I accidentally discovered how to do it. Other than that, and the rather clumsy menus, this is a pretty good (but long) game. One of the better hand-held RPGs that I've tried.

This game is one of the best games on GBC and even thought its kinda the same as POKEMON its still very different. Anyone who is interested in RPGs and just wants a good game this it the game to get. Also the graphics are really good for the time that it was made in so I would advise everyone to get this game

The fact that you can only take five objects into the tower and you always start back at level 1 is annoying, but you can power up if you hang in there long enough. Unfortunately, you can never make it all the way up without losing your monsters and getting hit by some super-strong baddie and you end up having to warp back to town. Being able to make changes to the town, such as expanding the hero's house, is neat. Too bad you don't make enough money selling the items you pick up in the tower to do much renovating! It would be nice if Game Shark would hack some cheat codes but they don't seem to feel the need to do that for the Game Boy version of Azure Dreams.

I have enjoyed this game, but well, it's much easier than the Playstation version. The graphics are fairly good, the game play is smooth and I enjoy playing it.

Its graphics were absolutely terrible, and so was the story line. If I could i would have given it negative points on the scale.
