I bought this because my friend used it and it looked super useful --- but after buying it, I realized that it uses a funky battery that's near impossible to find. Will update if I end up finding it.

This product worked great for about 8 months. Then the digital display went partially out. We changed the batteries- which were hard to find- but it did not fix the screen so we had to throw it out.

This is great. Having an actual digital thermometer reading means there is no guess work when it comes to my baby. Previously, I realized what felt just warm on my hands was scalding on the bum and/or tummy. In addition, the ambient temperature of a room has a lot to do with the perception of water temperature. Thanks to this tool, we can give our baby a warm, comfortable bath regardless of the location or weather.

I am so glad that we have this thermometer for our baby's bath. I always know exactly what the water temperature is! I like it much better than a thermometer that simply says "HOT" when the water is too warm.

I recommend this product to any mama. Your elbow is good, but not this good. I once gave my baby a bath that was a little too warm so he went from loving his bath to dreading his bath. thank goodness for this bath thermometer. we're back to liking our bath as the water is a-ok every single time. way better than my unreliable elbow. as for the battery, i have yet to have to replace it; but, i believe i'll be able to find the battery at a watch store if not a large store like costco or sam's club.
