This is an excellent custom designed knife for a production knife price. The fit and finish of is first rate. The handle - jigged linen (maybe canvas?) micarta - feels like a custom build. There's a notch for the index finger and everything else falls into place.

This knife is nearly the same size as the original, which costs $350 or more. The steel is not a supersteel, but who cares? It is functional, stainless and it works.

I like small fixed blades for utility, defense and daily use. There's nothing to fail, no lock, no latch, no thumb stud or whatever. You can carry this in your pocket or clip it inside the waistband. My state, by the way, allows fixed blade carry with permit.

The only downside to this knife - and the reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars - is the sheath. Sheaths are essential for fixed blades, people! This one was a booger to make functional, but it's fixable if you're not shy. It's kydex, but it was poorly molded and fitted. I worked for five minutes to get the knife into the sheath and ten minutes and a screwdriver to pry it out. Ten minutes with my rotary grinder (no, it's not a Dremel, but you get the idea) and I was able to find a decent sheath inside all that excess kydex. I added a "G" clip (google it, you'll figure it out) and it's good for inside the waistband carry at the appendix or 11 o'clock position. Oh, yeah ... pocket carry is easy; just thumb off the sheath when you need it.

BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front), this is one of my favorite little fixed blade knives, and since I like fixed over folders, that makes it one of my favorite knives, period. I rate it right up there with my Fred Perrin/Spyderco FB04 and Street Beat, but at a bargain price. Fix the sheath and you're good to go. You will not regret getting this blade.

Good size for every day carry. I was hesitant because it is made in China, but I have been happy with the workmanship and overall quality. The sheath is OK without being great. But it is not garbage by any means. Overall a very solid piece for the price.

Unfortunately I don t have the skills of the other reviewer and I couldn t make the sheath work. A tek lok fit but made it too bulky.. It s too heavy for around the neck... i guess it ll just sit in a drawer which is too bad because the knife is well made, beautiful handle, great blade design..

I love this knife. The scales fit perfect and the handle feels great in my hand. The sheath is has good retention but I'm not sure about the design. I may make a new one down the road. The lanyard hole is just barely big enough to stuff some paracord through if you work at it. Do keep in mine this knife is more of a self-defense type knife so the handle doesn't allow a hold lot of different options for utility tasks. Overall it's an awesome knife and I'm glade I got it.

Like most of the other reviewers here, I think this is a very decent knife for the price. Blade is sharp, like the shape and feel of the handle, and it's just the right size as a "get off me" knife for the belt.

Unfortunately, the sheath leaves a lot to be desired. First, it's entirely too long, and could be trimmed down at least a quarter inch with no detriment. More importantly, it comes with a Tech-Lock belt loop, but no hardware to attach the sheath to the Tech Lock. Minor issue, there...

I ended up buying an aftermarket fixed kydex "loop" and hardware in order to be able to use the knife as intended, on the belt.
