About the Author

Hi, I could go on quite a while about this book, but will just try to keep it simple. This is a great book. I read it close to 5 years ago and just recently read it again. You can feel the author's emotions throughout the book even though sometimes it is pretty "technical." There is a lot of information in a fairly short book. It would be a great book for middle school/high school teachers to have on hand. I would definitely recommend it if you are at all interested in WWII flying or had any relatives that flew during WWII. I am probably partial to this book because my uncle, his crew and plane were also MIA during WWII, and my story is very similar to Mr. Geary's in many places. (Thoughts and feelings when I was young, especially at my grandmother's house, etc.)
