2.0 out of 5 stars Unbalanced and Fragile!, June 2, 2007
= Durability:1.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: B-29 Super Fortress RC Electric Airplane RTF (Toy)
Granted, this was my first RC attempt, but I am an Aeronautical Engineer and I know a little something about planes. I spent two hours trying to get this aircraft balanced, but could not get it right. Attempted to fly it, and it was very unbalanced with engines on too. First crash destroyed two props, the tail, and a wing. Good thing they give you strong tape! After about 45 minutes of stright flight tests, repairs (because each grass landing broke something else), and adjusting, the front nose gear finally fell off, making the plane a little more stable. Unfortunately at that point I had nearly destroyed the structural integrity of the vehicle.

This plane is very difficult to get flight ready. Very little power for the weight of the aircraft (dont believe the "4 eninges means more power than other two engine aircraft) - This plane is VERY underpowered. And be prepared to repair. This plane is very fragile, even on grass landings it will catch a wing, flip, and break!

Poor Quality, but fun if your intent is to tear up a plane!

Oh yeah... once the batteries are slightly less than fully charged, the plane lacks the power to sustain flight.

Poor Design!

2.0 out of 5 stars not suitable for flight training, January 21, 2007
This review is from: B-29 Super Fortress RC Electric Airplane RTF (Toy)
My son and I have no flying or RC flying experience. While mastering the delicate control required to take off and land the B-29 RC, we destroyed all propellers and thus were never able to enjoy flying the RC aircraft. I would not recommend this toy to anyone unfamiliar with flying RC aircraft. Look for a more durable product for a first attempt.

1.0 out of 5 stars Buyers Beware, September 26, 2007
= Durability:1.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:2.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: B-29 Super Fortress RC Electric Airplane RTF (Toy)
I bought my B-29 because it was the only 4 engine plane I could find (cool factor). To my utter disappointment, I found that the plane was severely underpowered and was unable to fly. I have tried several times to balance this beast and have not succeeded. Although the B-29 looks (and sounds) really cool, for me, it was unflyable. It never got enough lift/power to go anywhere but into the ground.
