This is B.B.'s celebrity duet album, and a straightahead blues album this is not. But longtime fans who are aware of King's genre-stretching capabilities will find much to savor here. Kicking off with B.B. playing some beautiful fills and solo work behind Van Morrison on "If You Love Me," the superstars start lining up to jam with the King, with Tracy Chapman ("The Thrill Is Gone"), Eric Clapton (a funkified "Rock Me Baby"), the Rolling Stones ("Paying the Cost to Be the Boss," with a fine harp solo from Mick Jagger), Willie Nelson (his "Nightlife," long a standard in B.B.'s set list), Bonnie Raitt ("Baby I Love You") and Marty Stuart ("Confessin' the Blues") all turning in fine efforts.

Talk about the word "fun"! If you could use that anywhere, it is here! BB performs "duets" with everyone from Van Morrison, Tracy Chapman, Clapton, Bonnie Raitt, The Stones, Joe Cocker, Willie Nelson, and a few others. BUT! THE MOST FUN ONE OF ALL, THAT MY SON AND I BOTH LOVED, WAS WITH THE RAPPER "HEAVY D"! They perform a rap/rock duet, where "Heavy D", talks about making a "move" on BB's sweetheart "Lucille"! I'm sure anyone reading this review knows who that fine lady is! This CD is a definite "buy" and can be enjoyed by all ages, and musical tastes!

who introduced me to the blues. Several years ago, a co-worker talked about how he loved the blues genre and owned 2,000+ albums.

Hmmm, I decided to check it out, went to a local shop and serendipitously bought the "Deuces Wild"cd,probably because I thought at least B.B.'s duet partners would please me.

Left the shop, put the cd in my auto player and after a few bars of music, I was a fan!

"Deuces Wild" is still one of my top 10 played cd's. I strongly urge you to listen, enjoy and be transformed by the power of the BLUES!
