With cutting scalloped lines, a twin rail pickup in the neck and a super-hot Rockfield "Fat Ass" pickup in the bridge, the Draco looks and sounds downright ferocious--just like the Dragon it was named after. Breathe a little riff fire with this sharp-cornered companion.

Neck-Through Construction
B.C. Rich utilizes neck-through on many of their guitars, providing the best possible sustain, resonance, comfort and access to higher frets. This construction starts with premium North American mahogany and runs from the tip of the headstock to the end of the guitar. This means that the headstock, fingerboard, pickups and bridge all are mounted to this single sound foundation. It's a difference you can hear. The neck-through construction also allows the cutting away more of the body and neck at the neck joint, which provides comfort that no bolt-on or set-neck could offer.

Rockfield "Fat Ass" Pickups
The Rockfield "Fat Ass" bridge pickup's custom designed bobbins house larger pole pieces that help transfer string vibration from pulls, bends, and leads, so the user gets less tonal drop-off and better articulation through and through. The Rockfield FAT ASS has a well-balanced overall tone that's mean and bold, with major sustain, huge bottom end, and cutting mids and highs.
The twin-rail neck pickup is a lot like the bridge position "Fat Ass" in its agression, but custom wound with a little less bite. It still offers great balance and sustain, with a huge low end response and plenty of scream.
On the control front you get a dual-duty push/pull volume knob for backing it off or selecting your pickup.
Beveled Top
Most of B.C. Rich body styles employ a beveled edge around the shape, catching the light and reflecting at different angles, for a three-dimensional look. Some of the B.C. Rich top bevels are extreme and wide, while others are subtle and narrow. As you've probably determined, the Draco falls under the "extreme" category--try not to hurt yourself.
Hey, Where's the Output?
That's a good question. It's lurking on the back of the upper wing, for a more comfortable connection.
