Product Description
This flat top version of the Warlock comes in black with white binding and white with black binding. The Revenge Warlock sports a bolt on neck, trademark widow headstock, Chrome hardware, and two high output humbucker pickups guaranteed to rock. White with black binding or Onyx with white binding.

Agathis Body With Beveled Top
Agathis wood, like ash or alder, is firm and resonant, offering great sustain and a focused midrange at an affordable price. It's perfect for the Revenge Warlock's non-traditional body shape.
Flat Top
Some of the B.C Rich shapes are offered with a flat top. The flat top styling gives a bold and pristine look to the edge of the instrument's shape. Usually when the flat top feature is used, B.C. Rich adds a stripe of single or multi-ply binding around the edge in a complementary color. The binding on a flat top finishes off the edge cleanly and gives a sleek and clean look to the instrument.
Bolt-on Construction
A number of B.C. Rich guitars use a classic Bolt-on construction. On these instruments a neck (typically maple) is bolted on with 4 screws to the body. This construction offers some added flexibility in the instruments adjustment and provides the option to change the neck in the future.
The Revenge Warlock features a maple neck with an ultra-playable natural satin finish, and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with white pearloid dot inlays. The deep cutaways make access to higher notes a breeze, so you can shred away in that upper register without any problems.
B.C. Rich BDSM Pickup
B.C. Rich designed their BDSM humbucking pickups to provide a solid sound and to be durable while delivering high output. BDSM stands for Broad Dynamic Sonically Matched. Which simply means that the pickup is designed to reproduce a wide range of frequencies accurately (broad dynamic). Then they are tested and matched in pairs (Neck and Bridge) by their inherent individual and signature tonal and output characteristics to give a solidly balanced tone (sonically matched).
Hardware
The Revenge Warlock features a Tune-o-Matic bridge with stop bar tailpiece, for serious sustain and solid tuning. The chrome die-cast tuners seal the deal.

BC Riches are known for their wild styles, and they may not be for everyone, but the Warlock is a classic, almost iconic design, and this Revenge model stands out in a crowd and demands attention. It is truly a beautiful instrument, and the widow headstock is like a crown on a beautiful queen.
No Floyd Rose tremelo setup on this baby, it has a set bridge and is ready to rock straight up. Whether you are a lead or a rhythm player, this axe will give you everything you need. To me, the most important thing about a guitar is the action. This guitar was ready to go right out of the store. A quick tune-up of the strings and this thing was a weapon. It is not as heavy or cumbersome as the BC Rich Beast can be, it feels very comfortable while either sitting or standing. The classic twin humbuckers give you a warm tone and a rich sound. This guitar straight up rocks. One of my best guitar purchases in the last 5 years.

Well I have to say this guitar has come as a rather big surprise and represents outstanding value for money. I am a professional instrumental teacher (have been for 20 years) and although the guitar is not my first instrument I can safely say that I have played enough to know good from bad. This instrument pushes the boundary of value as its price is budget yet its sound is quite out of the entry level. It certainly handles distortion very well but don't let that fool you, the clean sounds come across well also. Certainly when the amp is cranked up to fall distortion mode the guitar comes into its own being suited especially for thrash / grunge/ crunch sounds. I was however pleased with the type of sounds found from the clean settings. Another thing, the guitar stays in tune. I know that may sound a little odd to say but how many have I owned that do not! This one takes the occasional tune up every now and again but apart from that its great. Nice solid body, comfortable to play sitting down with a solid looking and feeling fretboard. So is there a catch...yes...The pickups are strong but lack definition so the bass end is not always as well defined as the roar achieved in the mid section. But that is a minor issue because at the price I paid for this guitar I can live with the notion that more is out there. Bottom line: I would play this guitar at any venue and feel comfortable doing so.

I have tested Warlocks before when I wanted to buy one way back. $100 off? Even if I have to do a little tweaking...It sure will be worth the $200 to have this in my arsenal.
