This bag is absolutely beautiful - the leather is incredibly soft, the styling is classy and the hardware adds a great touch. Plenty of room inside but still compact enough that you won't lose all of your things. I have several B Makowsky bags and the quality is unbelievable for the price. They have a much richer look and feel than many of the brands in the $400 price range. You will love this bag!

I bought this bag in red (color called Lipstick). It is gorgeous, and I got it on sale for $160 at a local discount store. I have several B. Makowsky bags and all of them are very soft, high quality leather. The size of this bag is great and fits comfortable on the shoulder. It is not heavy (even with all of my stuff, magazine, cosmetic bag, checkbook, wallet, day planner). It can be dressed up or down, looks great with jeans! Nice bag for everyday wear.

Beautiful to say the least. I bought this purse for my best friend and she absolutely loved it. She can't stop wearing it and I'm so glad. It's a great purse that can be put to work against the thousands of things women stack in their purses each day. Now my gal pal has many, many numerous purses but she chooses this one over them all and that really says something. She used to change her purse according to the outfit but this one seems to go with everything. This makes an extremely great gift! Men, if you want to get her that something special, but something different, this is defiantly they way to go!

This is a gorgeous bag. Great hardware details with a soft leather. But there are no feet to this bag so I am always afraid to put it down on something. Also, it's so big and slouchy, heavy and everything gets lost in the bottom of the bag. The BIGGEST problem is with the light color bone. If you wear any color pant, even dark jeans....it will stain the lower back and straps blue or the other colors. I bought some leather cleaner and conditioner and it did not get the stain out. The bag has no stain guard.If they had more compartments. . .the bag had so much potential.

Beautiful to look at BUT PLEASE buy this bag in a dark color. And be prepared. . it's a little heavy.

uh this bag satisfies almost everything i've ever looked for in a bag. and believe me, with a size 10 shoe you know what i mean. bags are my candy. this bag was like finding organic free-trade endangered species saving dark chocolate in the penny candy bin. i actually got it for $160!! the only probs are no front pocket and that the side pockets aren't zippered. any girl from nyc knows that someone can easily stick their hand into the back of your sac. a front pocket helps keep your little important goods (cell, music, keys) right in perfect reach. and the bag could possibly be a bit TOO big? i haven't decided yet, but the zippered compartment in the middle makes me happier....

I like this purse, but it is not my favorite. I have around 6 of Makowsky's amazing creations. I have to say that I really enjoy his classics collection. The lining in those are with deep purple satin and that to me just makes those bags exceptional, so maybe I am spoiled. This bag is great though, I like it the color is just perfect. It does need some help to stand though, if it is not all filled in it will not stand on its own. Over all I actually do like this purse. I wish that the straps on the outside where adjustable but they are not, so be aware. You can wear this just about anywhere. I have received many compliments on this purse, mine is the sage color. I would recommend it and would definitely purchase if I had it all over to do again.

I've purchase lately only B. Makowsky leather handbags. The leather is very soft. I think overall, it is very elegant and you can see the quality inside and out. I bought it in bone. I don't think you have to pay more to get higher quality. This bag has it all.

If you like large bags (and many of us do!) this is a great purse for both every day wear and for travel. There are plenty of outside pockets including two that will fit a paperback and a Kindle (but it isn't protected from banging against things). The two side pockets are not as useful though as they look in a picture. It is basically one pocket going from side to side so a cell phone that you put in the front pocket could end up migrating to the back pocket.

For the price, the leather and the heavy hardware give a lot of value. The inside leopard print lining is of a high quality material. There is a zipped middle pocket for security and a zipped side pocket as well as a couple of cell phone pockets!

The bag works well when carried and the handles have enough drop to wear it on the shoulder.

My major complaint aside from the outside side pockets not having dividers which can make it tough to quickly find your cellphone--is with the weight of the bag. It is pretty heavy when you load it up with your wallet, make up bag, etc.

The bag is stylish and you'll be stylin' as you walk down the street with it!

Saw this bag at Macy's and fell in love with it. When I saw it on Amazon at such a great price I was all over it.
