I received my new B Makowsky bag two days ago, what a beautiful bag, above and beyond what I had expected for such an inexpensive price. The color (I chose Raspberry for the summer) is gorgeous and just what I expected. I cannot believe the quality of this bag as I have paid 3X this price for the "C" bags and the leather is so heavy even before you put your belongings in them that I was beginning to have problems with my shoulder. This bag is so lite and perfect for the summer. It fits perfectly on my shoulder and it stays there. My only request would be a few more pockets on the inside as smaller things tend to get lost.......but I am over the top happy with this bag. Hope to see more of this lighter leather. Am expecting more complements coming my way with this beautiful bag!!

I bought this bag (in turquoise) at a local department store about 2 months ago. At first I loved it...the color is beautiful and the leather truly is supple and light. It feels almost weightless! The lining seems substantial and the bag part is well constructed. I love the outside cell phone pocket.

One very major problem: the handle is cracking everywhere. Now it looks like a cheap vinyl discount purse. I've only used this bag for two months, and I don't carry much...just eight small items. After discovering the problem this week, I did some web searching and apparently this is a known problem with some B. Makowsky bags. Unfortunately there is no contact information available for the company.

Until the handle quality improves, I will steer clear of B. Makowsky handbags.
