I was given this bag as a gift for Christmas 2008. I noticed that by the end of January, the handles are already notched and cracked. This bags handles didn't last a month without looking worn! Everthing else is holding up ok, but the handles look really crappy.

I don't know how to get in touch with the manufacturer, there is no manufacturer website that I can find. I would like new handles, or a new bag. This bag was less than a month old before looking worn and cracked!

I purchased this item January 24th, 2009. By the end of February the handles were cracked and worn looking. The rest of the bag looked ok, but not great. It is currently now June 1, 2009 and I'm fed up with carrying a cracked, worn looking $200 piece of junk so I emailed B. Makowski's customer service trying to get someone to replace the handles under their warranty over "quality and craftsmanship". I was told that B. Makowski is only a wholesaler and that if I had a problem with the bag, then I needed to return it to the store I purchased it at....ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? There is NO repair option for a $200 purse, I can only take it back and receive a new one (that will, within a month, look exactly the same) or get my money back? What a crock! I'm so very disappointed with this company, I had high hopes that they could be a quality, lower-priced option for cute leather styles of handbags. Instead, they turned out to be a giant rip-off! Save your money and buy something else. What a piece of crap :(

I have the Phonix North/South B Makowsky bag and it is my first B Makowsky! I am a small bag kinda person, but this is just awesome! It is big, but feels just right. The leather is second to none and it hangs just right on my shoulder. I am very picky about my purses, and love this one. It is really big! But it is ok...because it is not only a big bag, but a statement! And it feels so good to wear! I bought the brandy color and will be able to wear it all year if I want!!!

I was a little apprehensive about buying this purse because normally I like to organize things in my purse and know exactly where to find it. Looking at this purse I thought, everything will be at the bottom and I will have to dig for it. However, I couldn't resist it because the white color with pewter colored shoulder straps and zippers looked really attractive to me. And it is perfect for spring and summer, so I bought it. I've had so many compliments with this purse !! One woman couldn't wait to go to the store and get herself one.

I do love this purse, I've had it for about a month and it still looks new. Because it's white, I'm careful about staining it against jeans and leather jackets and other things. I also like the magnetic closure because it makes it easy to open and close the purse and because it opens so widely, it's easy for me find my things and I don't have to dig ! The cell phone pocket is deep so I don't have to worry about my cell phone falling off. It has so many pockets and compartments that it's nice to store things and know where to find it.

I'm glad I got this purse because it's has everything I want and more.

I bought a very expensive B. Makowsky handbag. A few months later...cracked handles. There is no customer service. No warranty. Don't waste your money on B. Makowsky handbags. You'll be disappointed.

I didn't realize how large this purse would be when I bought it, WOW! It's very large and can practically double as an overnight bag. I do generally like the size although it's larger than what I am used to. I wish the color was a bit brighter and that it didn't attract stains as easily, as my dark-colored jeans have rubbed a bright blue stain on the side that sits at my right hip (which fortunately is essentially covered when I am wearing the purse) but overall it's been a great purse. It's holding up very well and I love the softness of the leather and the long shoulder strap length.

I absolutely love this bag! Large and roomy, it opens wide so items are easy to find. Beautiful, soft leather on this stunning bag! I got the brandy and it is perfect with everything!

I fell in love with B. Makowsky's bags a few years ago and haven't purchased a bag by anyone else since. I love knowing that I have a quality bag without initials to advertise that it's quality. The leather is soft and subtle, and the bag is a work horse loaded up with everything and then some when needed. The handles haven't been an issue on this bag or any other that I've had so it's hard to hear that someone else is so unhappy. No doubt for me - B. Makowsky is a Rock Star!

This bag is amazing, so sexy, all my girls love it. It feels like melted butter and has that quality leather smell. A picture cannot justify this bag, you have to see it in person.

I first ordered the satchel, not realizing it was so small, but then ordered the N/S tote in Vachetta and absolutely love it. The color is great, it's a big bag (great for me, since I'm a mom that has to carry everything with me), yet it doesn't feel heavy with everything loaded in it. I'm dressing it up with a scarf tied on the handle.
