As with all B. Makowsky bags, this one is truly scrumptious. I have seen other reviewers complain about the 'horseshoes,' and I don't even really notice them. They're just bling, IMHO, not really horseshoe-like when you look at them in person.

I particularly like the small flapped side pockets. I've gotten accustomed to keeping my keys in one and cell in the other and this is quite convenient. With the addition of a long black leather crossbody strap with brushed goldtone clasps, this is nearly a perfect bag. (Yes, I know it's not meant to be crossbody, but I can't stand having a bag without that option, so...)

I purchased this bag in black, and I love it. It is of course very soft and spacious, and the middle zipper sections adds extra security. The outside pockets keep my cell phone easily accessible. I have room for my wallet, magazine, checkbook, umbrella and cosmetic case. The hardware is brushed gold and unique (I agree with the other reviewer, it does not look like horseshoes). B. Makowsky are top of the line bags, and are always reasonably priced! I love the fact that ALL B. Makowsky bags come with the sleeper/dust bag.

I really like this purse but I am thinking that the green is too bright in person. On the computer screen it is a little more "muted" but in person, it is REALLY bright!

I adore this bag! I have it in black. The leather is VERY soft, the hardware is gorgeous, and the interior is very roomy. I tend to carry a pretty decent amount of stuff in my bags, so I love the large size of this purse. I've gotten lots of compliments on it. I would recommend spraying it with leather protectant spray before using it--I do that with all my bags. Makowski's bags are "naked" leather, so using a protectant is important here.
The gold hardware looks very luxe with the rich, soft black leather. And the top sitiching troughout is intricate and very even. The bag has a good, high stitch-count too, 9 sitches per inch, which is good. (Ladies, if you've never checked the stitch-count on a bag, its one way of telling if its well made or not. Use a tape measure and hold it against a seam, not the top stitching, which is just decorative, but the actual seams that hold the bag together, and count the number of stitches that are in one inch.) I find that the better-made bags have at least 8 stitches per inch. If its less than that, I skip it. I know that sounds extremely picky, but...well, I AM picky about my bags. I love little details. Makowski bags are very well made. I'm glad I bought this bag. Its very chic!
