I found this (sold as a set with the Teflon pressing mat) at the International Quilt Show. I never, ever impulse buy, but this time I did, and I'm so pleased. I had an expensive pair of jeans with some wear-holes (the blue denim threads had worn down to the white threads). I repaired them by following the instructions which came with the product, and the results were beautiful. I'm so pleased.Just a word of caution- do your very best to *only* work on the wrong side of the fabric, and try not to get the powder on the front of the fabric (because when it melts, it becomes shiny). And also, BUY THE TEFLON PRESSING MAT if you don't already have it- the products are made to work together. I will always keep a bottle of this in my house! Well done, Bo Nash!

In theory, this product should work. My only complaint is that it does not work if you don't pat extra and buy the silicone or teflon ironing sheet to use with it. No other heat shield such as cotton will work. I do not think they should sell the one product without saying that it won't work without the other product. I just think the customer has the right to know in advance before they end up with only half of the solution to their problem.
