There was no cookbook with the cd! 2 Chainz Mealtime cookbook was promoted to have it inserted in his cd. Not.

i dig the music and I'm glad he came back, however this album at best is hit and miss. its got some cool grooves and vibes here and there, however the album gets rather predictable rather quickly. its alright. i dig him more on hooks on other projects, however its good to see him getting a run again as a solo artist.

I don't think anyone should listen to him for his lyrical content alone...but the boy can go hard. That being said, I was disappointed in this album...it had way too much fluff. It started off jumping and about halfway in I developed a strong urge to tune it out. It's ok though.

so after the release of "based on a tru story" 2 chainz had made it big with his debut album. he brought character, and lets be honest...to all you 2 chainz haters you know he can flow he really can, but after the debut from G.O.O.D MUSIC recording artist can he recapture the magic his first album had. i mean "b.o.a.t.s 1" gave us the usual pop songs we would hate. but gave it a humorous street feel we can all get with. i mean come on lets be honest who wasn't listening to "no lie ft.drake", "birthday song ft.kanye west", and "i luv dem strippers ft.nicki minaj" and not bobbin their head memorizing the lyrics and laughing... but can he do it again..well i usually talk about the pros & cons of each song but this album suffers from the same thing so i'll do a pros & cons on the album itself.

B.O.A.T.S 2

pros: 2 chainz gives character which is great and he can flow and with the many features he had...they did good i mean i was surprised by lil waynes verse. and for a couple songs he gives that character and street humor that the last album had. this album also had some good beats

cons: the character is great nothing wrong with that but this album does what the first album didn't do to make it great... his last album took what should have been stupid pop songs and make them fun street songs. this album he does pop and some features aren't bad their just not memorable where some features shouldn't have been even close to this record. and like i said character i feel like 2 chainz just focuses more on character and not on flow. and too much of this album is suffered from that, and also the production theres some good production and some bad.

my personal favorite tracks :

1.where u been? ft.cap1
2.

This album is one of 2 chainz best work and dont regret buying this album. This is nothin like Tru Story and displays his art by showing what he's really about and not try to satify these labels but for himself. I love every last feature on this project. It brought out the best of even the ones we havent heard in a while and they were the perfect pick. All these albums are sounding the same and the rappers are getting lazy! Not on this one. Great Album

Top 5 Tracks:

1. U Da Realest
2. Live and Learn (It Will)
3. So We Can Live
4. Feds Watching
5. Beautiful Pain

I'm a little dissapointed with this CD from 2 Chainz. I expected more of his first CD which is high energy and somewhat witty lines. On this CD there are more lazy metaphors that seem like he was just recording to put something out instead of taking his time and giving the fans his best effort. IF you're a die hard 2 Chainz fanatic then no doubt you'll probably enjoy this cd, but if you were looking for something more than recycled metaphors than this may not be for you.

2 Chainz had a breakout year in 2012. His debut album B.O.A.T.S. sold over 600,000 and he was featured on some of biggest club hits. Last time around all he wanted was a big booty hoe for his birthday and he told how different he was. So whats the difference between B.O.A.T.S. and B.O.A.T.S.2? Well 2 Chainz is more versatile, don't get me wrong though, the club songs and trap anthems are still intact, but he shows a different side of himself on some joints. The first single is "Feds Watching". 2 Chainz lets us know that hes gonna be fresh as hell when the feds watching, over Pharrells bouncy reggae-tinged instrumental.

On the albums opener, 2 Chainz had a dream that this rap stuff didn't work, so he went back to selling drugs. He also has so much money that it won't even fold. Mike Will Made It and The Eardrummerz production is prefect for his trap sound. 2 Chainz borrows Juveniles Back That Thang Up flow on the Mannie Fresh produced "Used 2", which has the old Cash Money feel. On "U Da Realest", he shows some love to his dead homies, Drumma Boy brings one of the best beats to the album. 2 Chainz often gets criticized for being style over substance, but hey that's the type of music he likes making, so that's what I'm gonna rate the album by.

Mason Betha sounds more than focused and gets introspective on "Beautiful Pain", I can honestly say its one of Ma$e's best verses as of late. I would to hear a new album from him, but anyway Lloyd kills it on the hook and 2 Chainz's verse was kinda typical. "So We Can Live" featuring T-Pain is another good one, clocking in at a little over 6 minutes, he talked about be pulled over by the Cops, then on the second part of the song, the beat changes into an East Coast-ish 90s beat with scratches on the hook.
