Inspired by actual events or based on a true story no matter how you say it, Marquis White's consciousness-journey novel, O.B.E. Out-of-Body Experience, fits the bill. I could not put this book down! So familiar were the explored nonphysical territories that I was sure I would find myself in the story, maybe on the next page or perhaps in the next chapter. Once Alan, the main character in the storyline, found himself apart from the often narrow confines of his physical body, my vicarious identification with his journey through pure consciousness was complete. Marquis White makes his point very well. The entire novel shows so well how stuck and lost we get in our thoughts and emotions creating every minute of our reality with that energy. I take from it that we all have the choice which kind of reality we want to create with our thoughts, words, emotions and actions. All we have to do is to remember that we are more than our physical body, more than our identity in this current reality, but that we are all love and life energy connected to each other. About the Author
Marquis White is the founder of Enigma Productions. A native of Detroit, MI, Marquis has lived a relatively quiet, however, eventful life. With a deep passion for story telling, he could no longer give his life to a world which benefits only the greedy and corrupt, so he set out on an inner impulse to create his dream and give inspiration to others. His inner drive to create works of art that bring about the conscious awakening in others led him to his first novel, OBE Out-of-Body Experience. He currently lives in Michigan with his wife Brittany.

A different type of O.B.E book,

This book is not one of the many "how to" books on O.B.Es. This is the first fictional story about O.B.Es that I've read. It involves a character who like many young adults today can't find satisfaction from living a "normal" life like everyone else. The character feels like the things people pursue like education, career, and chasing materialistic dreams are just empty pursuits. Even chasing girls seems useless bacause he doesn't feel like the type of "succesfull" stud that girls want.
Everything changes after his therapist gives him a book about different realities and astral projection. After reading the book and trying out the techniques he has an out of body experience that takes him to incredible journeys in different worlds with a girl that he meets in the astral world. The experience changes his life completely and he developes a different perspective on life. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in O.B.Es and would like a good story. This book is also good for people who are tired of books on theories and techniques.

Very Nicely Done,

I love how this book takes you on a journey and challenges you to not only see our world differently but to also see beyond it. I feel the author did a great job of keeping a constant flow that encourages the reader to continue on while offering material that keeps it fresh and alive. Though this book is fiction it does offer a lot to those seeking information about O.B.E. like myself. Its not to caught up in trying to define what O.B.E. is but rather gives you a look at what it can do for you if you decide to embark upon a journey of your own.
