Good quality mount.....Can support a fair amount of weight...Connecting the speaker to the mount proved to be somewhat of a difficult task to do alone......I used this mount for my center channel because of its low profile.....I used the BT1 for the front left/right channels and they were a breeze to install and use.....

Despite the other post, these actually are intended to mount on a single gang outlet box cover. The manufacturer makes a very good metal cover pre-drilled for the mounting screws & a hole for the wire to pass through that is hidden when the bracket is mounted. I have 4 of these, 2 I bought elsewhere with the cover plates, I just went to the hardware store & got 2 metal cover plates for the other 2 then drilled them. There is a small metal piece that you mount to the wall or the cover plate & then the speaker & main part of the bracket slide down over the metal piece, this way you can mount the speakers to the bracket in a convenient place, then put them on the wall.

Their up, easily installed and really enhance the theater sound with their location! Fair price and great/prompt service! A+++++

My house was pre-wired for surround sound, and I therefore had j-boxes (kind of like the electrical boxes behind your light switches) at the locations where I'm supposed to mount my speakers. Trick is that these mounts are intended to be attached directly to the wall, and not to j-boxes. I could've saved myself some trouble and purchased the Pinpoint AM20 mounts which are specifically for j-boxes.

But I didn't know this at the time, and bought these mounts. I ended up having to attach the mounts directly to the plastic j-box covers to avoid having to drill additional holes in the wall. This worked out great, and I'm pleased with these speaker mounts, but I could've saved myself some trouble by going with speaker mounts specifically intended for my specific scenario.
