5.0 out of 5 stars A good song
I think that the song was great and the boys were even better. I just hope that they stay together and don't break up liek these other boy bands did. I think that they are going to go far if they keep coming up with good songs like this and by getting a lot of plublicty they will be well know in the music biseness. This is my opinion of B5

3.0 out of 5 stars The Boys from Brazil
I happened to hear a single from this CD while in the music store in Rio, shopping for DVDs. Though my Portugese is limited to a small vocabulary, I was able to pick up a lot of the words to the pop tune "amigo" playing over the store's system... and after spending a few minutes trying to have the salesperson understand my request, I eventually found out that...

I happened to hear a single from this CD while in the music store in Rio, shopping for DVDs. Though my Portugese is limited to a small vocabulary, I was able to pick up a lot of the words to the pop tune "amigo" playing over the store's system... and after spending a few minutes trying to have the salesperson understand my request, I eventually found out that the group singing was called "B5" and consisted of five talented teenage boys from Brazil.

As I noted, the vocals are solid, the words (if you can understand them!) are simple and deal with teen problems and topics... but together the five boys have a nice sound that is as good as many of the current pop groups working in the USA.

They may not be known in the USA, but they are fairly popular in Brazil, as well as known in Portugal. I gave the album 3 stars because the pop tunes are only mid-stream, but the lyrics are funny and creative, and the boys sing well. The CD insert has all the words, and with a bit of time and an online translation program, you too can produce the english (or whatever language) equivalent.

The reason why I like this cd because it talks about what teenagers go through. And it also has 5 brothers who can sing and love to do what they are doing. They also have good voice that just blow you away.
