This is a great webcam and the purchase went smoothly. The seller was first rate! The only aspect I am not crazy about is that I cannot fix cam securely to top of my laptop when open but have to kind of "perch" it. I wish it had a clip of some kind. That is my only complaint, however. The lens is very sharp and clear, the aperture is sensitive to ambient light so that my viewers always think I am in a well-lit room. The microphone is excellent with no "noise" and yet is very sensitive.

A very good camera and overall very reasonably priced considering the quality. The image quality is very good and it works well even if your lighting isn't the best. I used the Windows drivers at first and it worked right out of the box. I later added the latest sfotware from the Logitech website for the extra features it enables.

I was worried due to another review saying that it would not work with Win 7 64 bit, but I have had no issues with Win 7 64 bit or Skype. The other user that gave the camera 1 star must have had an issue with his Computer that was related to something other than the camera software.

superb image (carl zeiss glass) and plug and play -- use it with skype ... did not download any logitech software, just plugged it into a usb port, set it on one of my monitors, booted skype and it worked first time ... the cost is prob in the glass, but again, image is perfectomundo ... good luck with your pro 9000 ... regards, craig
