With the Cover for Baby Carrier, you can be assured your baby will remain warm and dry without the need of bulky layers. The cover features a removable hood that protects your baby's vulnerable head from cold and rain. The hood is also reversible, so it can be used when your baby is facing in or out.

The cover can fully enclose the baby's body--or, if it's getting too warm, you can easily lift his or her legs out of the bottom. The versatile cover can also be used to keep your baby snug in his or her car seat or stroller.

Made of Breathable, Water-resistant Fleece
The machine-washable Cover for Baby Carrier is made of soft, breathable fleece material that helps keep your baby dry. It is also water- and wind-resistant for protection against harsh weather. The cover was designed so you can reduce the number of layers your baby needs to wear to keep warm when outside.

For your peace of mind, the Cover for Baby Carrier is Öeko-Tex Standard 100 Class 1 certified, an international safety standard for textiles, and contains no health-hazardous substances. this item is a bit pricey, but you can use it on pretty much any baby carrier, not just the baby bjorn. i use it on my evenflo snugli as well. just be sure not to over-bundle your child because this cover generates some heat, and in addition to your body heat and whatever clothes the baby has on, it can get pretty hot for both you and the baby.

We live in Seattle and this cover is a godsend in the cold and in the rain. I found it very easy to use and it allows all of us to go outdoors when it is drizzling (ok- all of the time in Seattle) not great for pouring down rain- but for light rain it is wonderful!

If you have the Baby Bjorn and live in a cold and or wet place this cover is a must. It lets me use the BabyBjorn on days when I otherwise would not dare expose my baby to the elements and don't want to lug around a stroller. You can even squeeze a blanket inside for extra warmth.
