I bought this for my husband. He really likes it. His only complaint is that it's not cordless. Great for maintaining a short beard.

Great clippers. They have a really long cord, great attachments (1-4) that will last, they don't miss hairs often, and they are quiet. I'm sad they didn't come in the fancy metal case that they normally come with in the stores. And they have nicked one or two people. Still WAY better than Whals.

I bought this clipper primarily to trim my beard and neck. I've been using it for about 10 months and for my needs, its been great. It doesn't pull on my hair and cuts through hair easily. It feels very solidly constructed, comes with variously sized guards, blade oil, and a brush. Compared to most of the chincy consumer beard trimmers and clippers I've seen (many costing more than this thing) this is so much better, and for the price, it's a steal.

I bought this clipper to trim my beard (the typical retail models have combs that break and dials that jam, eventually falling apart). After a while, I realized that I usually just get my hair cut short and trimmed a little around the ears, so my wife offered to take a shot at cutting it. I haven't gone to a barber since, and usually get compliments on the great job she does. Part of that is because she is in fact careful and uses sharp shears, but part is due to the excellent construction of the clippers and their combs. I think I could take care of the clipping part by myself, but eventually I'd have to get someone else to do the trimming if I did that.

Anyways, the only reservation I have about these clippers is that, if you are not scrupulous about cleaning and oiling the blades, they can get hot during use. So be methodical about brushing hair out of the blades, and oiling them to prevent friction, and they ought to last forever. Moreover, for the price I paid, they were effectively free after the first two (non-barber) haircuts.

dont waste your time on anything else, this is by far the best quality clipper that I have ever used (trust me! I have been through almost every brand there is out there) .. BUY IT WITHOUT A THOUGHT ..

I love these clippers and used them for years but it's impossible to replace the guards and they brake easily:( two weeks and they have lost teeth! Very sad but clippers cut beautifully!

I had been using Wahl clippers that are 10 years old and thought it time to upgrade. After using these Babyliss Pros for 10 minutes, I put them back in the box and got the Wahls back out. They simply do not cut. My hair is short, and it still would not handle it. Stay away from this JUNK.
