Easy-to-Use and Accurate
The BACTRACK features Circular Light Rings that provide an easy-to-see visual target and notifies the user when to start and stop blowing. Unlike other breathalyzers, the BACTRACK never requires individual mouthpieces to be inserted, touched, or replaced, which keeps users from sharing saliva and also saves money since there are less parts to replace. The Internal Dual Flow Tube steadies a users breath, helping to provide accurate and consistent test results even without the use of a mouthpiece.

The BACTRACK provides one-button operation for exceptional ease of use. It measures from 0.00 to 0.40 %BAC. BluFire Sensor Technology provides exceptional accuracy, with results that are 0.01%BAC @ 0.02%BAC. An inverse LCD displays the results, providing exceptional clarity in both daylight and at night. The display is recessed to prevent scratches, and provides instructions, telling users when to blow.

The BACTRACK Breathalyzer measures 4.25 x 0.81 x 1.63 inches (WxHxD) and weighs 1.4 ounces. Two AA batteries (not included) are required, with battery life averaging at least 300 tests. The BACTRACK also comes in polished black.

BACTRACK technology is protected by U.S. Patent No. D539,683S. Other U.S. and international patents pending. The BACTRACK is CE approved and has also obtained FDA 510(k) pre-market clearance.

A: Circular Light Rings provide a visual target and notify the user when to start and stop blowing. Internal Dual Flow Tube allows subjects to blow from a half inch away with no mouthpiece required. No more sharing contaminated tubes with multiple users or paying for replacement mouthpieces. Patent Pending BluFire Sensor Technology provides extremely accurate test results by steadying airflow and requiring a deep lung air sample for each test.

B: Wide Test Range - Measures Blood Alcohol Content from 0.00 - 0.40%BAC. Inverse LCD Display - White digits on a black background make test results easy to view in daylight and at night. Recessed display helps prevent scratching. On-screen instructions guide users when to wait and when to blow.

C: One Button Operation - Simply turn it on and begin testing in seconds. Tap-Proof Power Button - Prevents the BACTRACK from accidentally turning on. Hold power for five seconds to display the total number of tests performed.

I bought this a few weeks ago, stuck it in my car and forgot about it. Some friends and I went out to celebrate their anniversary and I thought for sure that when we left the restaurant that we were able to drive home. We all decided to give the bactrack a try and sure enough, we were all around 0.09 which is above the legal limit. We took a cab instead and saw a DWI checkpoint going on a few miles from the restaurant. This baby probably saved us from a DWI and possibly saved our lives. I'll never leave home without it! The Bactrack is perfect for any drinker. I decided to buy them one for their anniversary as well.

At first I was skeptical, but after learning how to use it, I don't go out without it. The key is you must wait 15 or so minutes AFTER your last drink, or it will give you inconsistent results. Too soon after and the alcohol won't be in your lungs, or there may be a drop right on your tongue which sends the reading too low or high. This is in the instruction booklet which I'm surprised I actually opened.

Anyway - this has become a great conversation point at bars. I've had plenty of people come up to me and ask to try it. It turns into a nice social item for getting to know people who you would have never met before. It also keeps me in check as I get close to leaving any bar. This isnt the cure to DUI's or dangerous drivers, but it certainly helps.

Great little product. Easy to use, big bright indicator lights tell you when to breath into it and large crips LCD digits display the result telling you with accuracy if you're too drunk to drive.

It's actually fun at the bars as well. We were guessing where each of us would register on the device and made a drunk game out of it.
