Product Description

BAL X-Chock Tire Locking Chock starts off where the Deluxe Tire Locking Chock left off but it’s new, slimmer design will fit into more axle applications. It fits between tandem tires, it locks wheels by applying force to both tires. Aids in trailer stabilizing and prevents tire shifts. A hand-operated plated ratchet wrench turns a drive nut, extending the chocks against the tires for locking and retracting the chucks for removal. Provides added stabilization and prevents tire shifts by applying opposing force to tandem, tire applications. As opposed to other chocks, the X-Chock works with the tires natural movement instead of against them. Fits even the tightest of applications retracting down to 1 3/8-inch and extends to 10-inch. Rust inhibitive coating. Plated ratchet wrench with comfort bumper included. Lightweight, easy to store. Lockable for added security with optional 28015 Pad Lock. Made in the USA.

I was looking for something that would stop our Kodiak hybrid camper from "shaking" when walking around inside. These chocks have totally stopped the camper from shaking, even when the camper is parked in our driveway with the stabilizing jacks up there is no forward/aft movement at all!! And with the jacks down the camper is now rock solid!! It is a night and day difference, I just wish that I would have bought these when I first bought the camper.

Got these for my 30' RV and they work great however, I guess I over tighened them and broke the belts on the tires. Blew out the rear tire first, then 50 miles down the road, blew out the front tire.

These work great, but DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THEM! If you see the tires compress, it's to tight!

I have now used these for about a month and they are just as advertised. Easy to put on and take off. They eliminate rocking movement that the stabilizing jacks didn't. And I feel a little more secure when stored as they are just two more things a prospective thief would have to deal with. I have read both here and elsewhere that they don't fit as small a span as the manufacturer claims. I believe they do, and wonder if perhaps those users don't realize that the four parts on each that make contact with the tires are designed to swivel on their axis. In other words, they need to be positioned correctly in order to fit into a tighter span. I believe mine is something like 2 or 2 1/4".

I bought these X-Chocks for my 6x16 steel cargo trailer. I have a pretty good grade on my driveway and during hunting season need to be able to park my trailer on the driveway fully loaded with gear and ATV etc. I was worried that a simple chock would only cause this heavy trailer to slide down the concrete drive.
These are very simple to use and they are incredibly sturdy. You don't have to go crazy cranking on them; they only have to be more than snug and they lock the trailer down. I have loaded and unloaded my ATV numerous times while the trailer is off the vehicle and the trailer does not budge.

I think this is a fantastic product and buyers will not be disappointed.

We have a small travel trailer (26') and even though we had sissor jacks and blocks, the trailer would move as we walked sround. We bought the x chock's to place between the tires and this eliminated the rocking feeling.
Great product and it works.

I am new to camping and just bought a Jayco G2 28BHS. I used the camper before this product and now after. Such a world of difference. No more shaking or noise of the RV moving. This is really a great product and very easy to use. Highly recommend.

My husband and I used these on our last camping trip and are so pleased with the stability these chocks provide. There was virtually no movement felt inside the trailer as we walked about, sat down , got up, or our 8 year old jumped about. The only downside is when I was installing them (in the dark) one of the cotter pins holding up a washer fell out. I heard it clink as it hit the ground but was unable to find it that night or in the the morning. I can get another cotter pin, but was a little disappointed to lose a piece on the first try. They still worked, but my husband had trouble retracting them so the pin is necessary for proper use. Overall we are very pleased with these and if your trailer wobbles and wiggles all the time these will help tremendously to keep it stable.

We have '10 Jayco 28R and I bought these based upon other reviews that they were able to eliminate the rocking that occurs when walking through the camper or the kids running through it. They do not stop this rocking. They are easy enough to install, I did flip them upside down in order to tighten them since the wheelwell trim interfered with getting to the nut. I think another reviewer stated that you have to keep in mind you are in a trailer on wheels so you won't be able to eliminate all movement. I should have listened to that review more and saved the money. These don't do anything different from regular wheel chocks combined with stabilizer jacks. Maybe my expectations were too high.

One thing to add: the paperwork that comes with it states that you should not put these in place until you have the travel trailer leveled. To me this means you still need other chocks to keep it from shifting while you are setting it up and raising it off your hitch ball
