I had a hard time rating this product. As an analgesic lotion, it is great stuff. I think that it beats many of the others in terms of absorption. The problem is, the product is discontinued, and if you want to get it, you have to shell out over 50 bucks for two ounces.

I bought a bottle, and loved it. I understood though, that because of my arthritis, I would be spending a lot of money if I continued with this product. I checked the ingredients, looked around, and discovered that Pain Bustr II has the same ingredients, but in an even stronger formulation. And it costs about $7- for 4 ounces. It is a cream, and does not seem to absorb as easily as Banalg, but considering the difference in the price, I can live with that.

BenGay Ultra has an even stronger formulation, but the vehicle is creamy, and, IMO does not work as well as either Banalg or Pain Bustr.

In retrospect, if I had my "druthers" I would stick to Banalg, but not at its price.

I'm down to my last drop of this stuff. Dang. I first got this over 25 years ago when I pulled a muscle in my back working for Sears. I had two bottles of this and have been using it whenever I have such a muscle pull. Now I have reached my last drop and I really need it so you can imagine the shock for me to see that it is selling for $250. I just can't believe it.... I will have to go to something else but I promise you... It really works. They need to bring it back.

I have used this product for years and now it is extremely hard to find. I wonder if it is not being produced anymore. Too bad if it isn't because it is the best joint and muscle pain reliever that I have ever used in 15 years. Carla Graim
