This review is from: BARBIE FAIRYTOPIA TOOTH FAIRY 2007 GREEN (Toy)
This tooth fairy is a convenient way to exchange the tooth for the trinket/money.
My daughter received the red one as a gift when her first tooth was loose. It is so convenient because all she does is drop her tooth in the skirt pouch and put it on the night stand. When she falls asleep I just go in and make the exchange. I don't have to search for it under the pillow.
We made up a story that the little fairies first come when the tooth is loose. The fairy lives on the bookshelf. She just watches and waits for the teeth. The fairy won't fly to Fairytopia until the child falls asleep. The magic doesn't work until the tooth is out. She then flies to Fairytopia and selects a trinket and flies back to the shelf and places it in the box/stand and waits for her to wake up and find it. The only time a tooth is not accepted is when it's rotten. Fairies only like clean well brushed teeth and won't reward rotten teeth.
My son now has his first loose tooth and I have bought him the green fairy. I think the green and blue tooth fairies are great for boys. I asked him to write a letter asking if he could have a tooth fairy in his favorite color which is green.
I highly recommend this doll, it will build a great memory and help encourage tooth brushing which is great when combined with it's convenience at the time of exchange.
