VERY hard to watch,
By I Teach Typing (Stanford, CA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: BARCELONA: Archive of Courtesy (DVD)
Featuring bad video and sound quality and amazingly bad visual transitions, this is a DVD to avoid. The entire thing is done with quick (like 5 second) views glued together with the cheesiest video effects from the 1980s. There are chapters, which are supposed to organize the city for you. They just do not work. Each begins with extreme close-ups of maps but the map shots do not pan out enough to help you figure out the layout. After the extreme closeup you get hit by machine-gun fire images. Worse yet, the video is NOT modern. There is a discussion of the Olympics that *will be* held in Barcelona .... they were in 1992.
Do not spend your money on this dated staccato video that looks like it was produced in the late 1980s by a high-school student and converted to disk in a garage. (It really is that bad.)

The DVD was supposed to be from 2007 but the date that played on the DVD was 1996. Color was washed out. Do not buy this DVD.
