5.0 out of 5 stars Baroque music in a new age style.... fantastic!, June 30, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: BAROQUE ANGELS (Audio CD)
These are the most beautiful melodies of the Bach, Telemann and Corelli played on New Age instruments. For people who use Classical music to relax to, it is definitely a step up because it is ALL soft and flowing music with no loud or fast parts. This album has all the relaxing qualities of the best new age albums AND has the beautiful melodies, counterpoint and form of the Baroque era as well. It is a perfect blend of Classical and New Age music. For the information of people who may not know what Baroque is: The Baroque era was around 1650, and was before the classical era which is around 1750. Both are popularly known as "classical" music, although they are divided into these 2 periods by scholars.
