This will be the second time (third) scope trying to get one that works! The concept is okay but they cannot build a scope that can keep functional even on a 15 pound 6mm BR Norma caliber, target rifle. the elevation adjustment failed on the first scope, both horizontal and vertical locked low and to the right on the second scope and I have yet to have one last longer than one trip to the range. I have eight scoped rifles that all work, this is not a case of operator error, the scope is just not as robust as a light duty varmint scope that is four years older and has lived on much harder recoiling rifles.

Very Impressed! Here is review from a real shooter and not an employee of the company. I was looking for a scope that could stand up to the heavy recoil of my DPMS 308LR Panther. At over 300 rounds so far I can say this scope is solid. I have it zeroed at 300 yards and this scope is very clear at this distance and up to 600 yards. I compete at 200 to 600 yards and even at 600 I see my 12inch target easily in all conditions so far. I plan to try it at a 1000 yards in a month at a national event. It returns to zero each time! This did surprise me. I thought I would have to re-zero often. So if you want a long-range scope that will stand up to heavy recoil and match the performance of a typical $1000 to $1500 scope, this is your choice. The rings and the dust covers do not match the quality of the scope. I would recommend buying a better set of rings that meets your needs. Hint, Hint Barska, You might want to provide in a better set of rings with this scope.

I would have rated this Scope a top rating if Barska would provide a better set of flip-up dust covers and rings.
