More About the Author

Chet Meyers, a university professor for over three decades, has written books and articles on teaching, critical thinking, spirituality, and his not-so-far-afield passion for freshwater fishing and birding. He lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he is an avid wildflower gardener and can often be found on the Mississippi River in a deep meditative state, communing with smallmouth bass. Chet has been a member of 12-Step Programs for over 25 years and credits his present sanity to loving friends, the principles of Al-Anon, and the music of J. S. Bach. His heroes and heroines include Thomas Merton, Mary Oliver, Jellaludin Rumi, Julian of Norwich, and Reinhold Niebuhr.
