This gets 5 stars for value. quality and looks. I looked everywhere for a moderately priced corner rod w/ the ceiling support included. I just couldn't make myself pay $150 for both. This one is a great price and is much better quality than I expected for that price. It's steel and very sturdy. The quality far exceeds the one I found in the large home improvement stores for about the same price (with no ceiling support). Unless you plan on swinging from the rod, this one should do exactly what the $100+ ones do. It should last for many, many years with normal use.

I looked all over for a corner shower rod, and finally found this one (at a great price). It was pretty easy to install, The wall mounts are best if you can hit a stud, but on one end I was only on drywall, so a couple of those expanding bolts did the trick. The ceiling rod is included and necessary. I thought the set screw that holds it in place looked a little wimpy, but it seemes to do the trick. The pieces were easy to cut to length with a hand saw with a metal cutting blade. I would suggest drilling a very small hole through the rod where the set screws pinch the rod. That allows the screws to dig in to the rod, and hold it much better. Had it up for over 3 months and it looks and works great.

This product was exactly what I needed to remodel the bathroom. I wanted to open up the room which had been dark, given the enclosed tub. This rod allowed me to open up the line of sight so that the room seemed larger, even when the shower curtain was closed.

I was able to figure out how to install it with little problem, but I would have preferred a line or two of suggestions about the sequence of installing the various parts, including the best position on the rod for the support ring. It wasn't a big deal, but there was NO written material of any kind included in the package.

All in all, if you are looking for an "L" shaped shower rod, this one is pretty good. Acehardwareonline also got it to me efficiently and promptly.
