Nice and practical to boot!, February 11, 2008
I am currently pregnant and was looking for a pair of light, low-heeled, affordable boots to keep me warm this winter. This pair fits the bill - the little side vents enable me to put them on with minimum effort and the wool lining is snug and warm. They have survived some dunking in slushy road side conditions without getting me wet despite being suede and look fine. good for snow and rain but not meant to go into heavy mud. The design is also pretty enough to wear with both jeans and dresses without looking too awkward. The only improvement I would recommend to the manufacturers would be to increase the boot's rubber sole's thread-design to improve better traction ( i have not slipped yet though) but I guess it is a good boot overall. Buying them on sale ( I paid $26!!) made a big difference for me.
