Good book,

A good book on regional weather. However it probably should have been entitled the BC Climate Book as that what most of the book is -- a detailed description of the climate of the province. There are descriptions of 11 major weather events, however I would have liked -- and I'm sure BC residents would appreciate -- an account of many more of the weather events that have impacted the province over the years. Perhaps they weren't included because there are already some on the author's website: The Weather [...].Also, Hadley cells are never called Halley cells, maybe this is just a misprint but it occurs more than once. |
