Finials are not metal, as they appear, but plaster. One dropped on the floor as I unpacked the package and it broke. I inquired about a replacement, but received no response. We glued it back together, sort of, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Like the other reviewer mentions, the end pieces on this item are plastic and not metal. The plastic broke just as I was applying enough pressure to insert the end pieces into the main curtain rod. I'm having to return the item and find something else.
My recommendation is to use your money on something different. |
