Directions
If you are using a lancet device, refer to the manufacturer's insert that came with the device. 1. Wash and dry hands. 2. Select fingertip site slightly off-center to minimize discomfort. 3. Remove lancet cap. 4. With firm motion, puncture skin quickly. 5. Apply blood to test strip, wipe fingertip with dry cotton ball or soft tissue, holding over puncture site until bleeding stops. 6. Please use lancet in a sealed puncture proof container. When container is full, follow local disposal ordinance where applicable. To Open: Pull tab along perforated lines.

I use these lancets all the time. They are painless and easy to use. Easy to dispose of since the lancet is covered by a cap which is removed and then replaced when you are ready to dispose of the lancet.
