As I buy a lot of dvd's from overseas sources, ie, from stores and personal overseas travel, I guess it was inevitable that, somewhere along the way, I would fall foul of the system and buy one (from) far away, that wouldn't play in any of my 10 dvd players.I did just that. I bought a copy of "Winters Bone" (Blu-ray)from Amazon that wouldn't play in any of them.I am soon to be going off on another big trip o/s and will no doubt, come back with a pile of dvd's, cd's and t/shirts.I needed a player that would play them all. Was one available? Certainly not in Australia.Amazon to the rescue.Yep! They provided me with this Sony machine that fits the bill.Apart from one or two minor teething problems (like my free hdmi cable not being supplied and not being able to play some dvd's).But, a couple of e-mails to the supplier soon solved those "problems".After getting the required info and doing what was necessary, I now find that the player is "the bees knees" or maybe, "the ducks's nuts". Whatever, it works perfectly and does all its supposed to do.It's a good buy and yes, it's another goodbye.
