The list author says: "Bearmanor Media is a fairly new publisher of books on the classic era of show business, pre-1960 although they have also done several titles after this time span. Show business books appear to have been completely abandoned by the major publishers unless it's a scandalous biography, leaving the golden era of show business almost entirely to the pricey academic publishers, McFarland and Scarecrow. Bearmanor Media's books however are reasonably priced and cover a variety of topics ranging from oldtime radio to horror movies to silent films to cartoons, occasionally even books on individuals who were rarely written about at the time of their career activity. I've been impressed with the titles from the publisher that I own, most of which look as polished as a major New York publishing house. While some of the books published by Bearmanor are indeed rather obscure and curious in their appeal, there are plenty of very interesting titles in their catalog and here are some of the ones that seem most intriguing to me (for the complete catalog visit their website.
Also note none of these books are out of print some are just no longer sold by Amazon, so you can get them at the website.)"
