4.0 out of 5 stars Great
I've had these shoes for about two months now.

When I first got these shoes, the packaging was very nice. Each shoe was individually plastic wrapped. Initial wearing of the shoes were very comfortable. However the front of the left shoe started to loosen and some of the cushioning in the inside are starting to show near the toe area.

One thing...

One thing that has been bothering me is the size tag. Its placed near the inner middle of your foot, which causes discomfort. I'd prefer there be no tag or the tag be moved somewhere else. Also there could have been more cushioning near the heel. The back of the shoe rubs against my lower ankle and leaves it sensitive, this went away with time but it would have been better with more cushioning.

Overall these shoes serve the purpose of keeping your feet warm, but the tag placement keeps it from getting 5 stars.

2.0 out of 5 stars Falling apart at the seams, August 28, 2010
I bought these for my dad's birthday in September and by December they were coming apart at the seams - literally. The leather is nice and they are warm and comfortable, if they would just stay sewn together! Won't be repurchasing these slippers.

3.0 out of 5 stars beware of size, August 15, 2010

All my shoes are size 10, so I thought a size 10 in this moc would be correct too. Much too tight. Definitely order a size larger than what you normally wear for shoes. My daughter bought as a gift for me, but I was out of the country at the time. By the time I received the gift and discovered the size problem, we were beyond the 30-day-from-purchase return limit. No matter though, because the cost of mailing back plus $10 required by Sheepskin Boot Connection amounts to more than a third of the price any way, not to mention time to go to post office.

5.0 out of 5 stars Why pay so much for Ugg's when you can buy these slippers?, May 14, 2010

For those concerned about the lack of half sizes, don't be. You will see from the picture on the site that there is a draw string that goes around the foot and can be adjusted if the slipper is too big. Also, something I guess you could also do is put a shoe liner in the slipper (but lose the benefit of the shearling under your foot). So, if your concerned, just order the next higher size up. I did and the fit is very good. As far as the review by zingingablenessedly complaining about not being able to tell left from right or the tag inside the shoe, I don't have that problem at all! And another thing about this slipper, it's about half the price of Ugg slippers. Can anyone explain why Ugg's are so expensive? After all, shearling is shearling! But then again, these are made in China and UGGs in Australia. But are labor expenses that high in Australia?

4.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable but small to size, February 12, 2010
By
Got them for Christmas but they didn't arrive until after the 1st of the year. I'm usually a 10&1/2 but ordered 11's and they were still snug. In the last month they have stretched out and I'm pleased w/ the comfort. Just order a full size larger than your usual...

3.0 out of 5 stars Bearpaw Slippers, February 7, 2010

These slippers are very comfy and warm, yet the stuffing inside has now stretched all out and the slippers are hard to hang onto. I think they should run smaller in size if they are going to flatten out inside after wearing them. = )

1.0 out of 5 stars too small, too dark, can't tell right from left foot, April 22, 2010

we ordered a size 10, and it was way too small.
difficult to tell which was for the right or left foot.
there is a tab in there that would annoy me all the time, about where the arch of the foot is - a hard cornered tab of some type, and even if you cut it out, the hardness of it would still be there.
when i put my hands in to see if there was any stuffing to take out before trying it on, i could feel many seams, too, which would annoy me every time i wore them.
we ordered the darker colored ones, and you'd never find them in the dark.
NOT recommended for diabetic people - you'll have so many sores from the seams and such.

it's a nuisance to have to pay shipping to send back poorly made stuff, wrong sized, etc.
i wouldn't buy from this company again.

2.0 out of 5 stars Bearpaw Mocasin, November 28, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought this for my fiancee for Christmas 2010 and this year I am buying him a new pair of slippers from a different maker. The "foot bed" part of this wore out in the first 6 months and the entire slipper started to stretch. This slipper was worn no more then a few nights a week for an hour or two each night.
