4.0 out of 5 stars great bargain!
I simply couldn't afford other brands, and after much research and assurance that these boots were real suede and sheepskin, I went for the Bearpaws.
My husband hasn't taken them off in the last two weeks.
Can't speak to durability yet, but comfort and construction are great.
Totally confused by reviews on what size to get, I'll say this. My husband is...

3.0 out of 5 stars its ok.. minus one annoying trait, December 26, 2007
the shoe looks great, feels great, it just makes the most annoying duck sound when i walk all the time, its so loud and embarasing, sounds like I am farting with every step.... very weird problem so I dont wear them.... then again I dont know if its just a defect in my shoe.... but there is nothing on the sole

3.0 out of 5 stars Bearpaw romeo, November 12, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I like everything about the product except the fact that the sole is a little hard, inflexible, stiff. When walking, the sole does not bend the way it should (compared to an ugg which is much more expensive). All else was great...

Totally confused by reviews on what size to get, I'll say this. My husband is usually a 11-11 1/2 wide. I bought size 12, which still felt a little snug at first, then stretched to perfection.

4.0 out of 5 stars Extremely Comfortable! With one problem.., January 14, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I was a little skeptical about getting boots because i had never purchased boots before. But these boots were the most comfortable things i have ever worn. But there is one problem! The bottom soles of the boots wear out easily and are not very good for walking around outside a lot because they are very thin.

3.0 out of 5 stars Warm and cheap - but watch your step!, April 14, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
These boots are very warm and comfortable, but they have zero traction. Seriously, I can't tell you how many times I have had my legs fly out from under me while shoveling snow. If you are looking for functional snow boots, look elsewhere. If you are just looking for something warm and waterproof and don't plan on walking on snow or ice, then these would be a good choice.

2.0 out of 5 stars Like a tall slipper, February 8, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I was expecting better support on these boots. Not only would I recommend you buy them at least 1/2 a size bigger than your usual 'big' size, but also they are not great for outside use. They get dirty and wet easily and you can feel it!

I would probably not buy it unless I just wanted to use it inside... but in that case, I would just use some warm slippers.

1.0 out of 5 stars Just another name for Walmart, November 26, 2007
We bought another shoe/boot from BearPaw and the label (a rubber one) happened to peel off. Underneath the Bear Paw label was the Walmart house brand label. I guess you get what you pay for.
