5.0 out of 5 stars Warm and Fuzzy!
Love these! The lining is luscious, and the outer is sturdy. It feels like you're walking around town in your slippers. And so cute! I couldn't be happier. But definitely buy the next half size up. I wear an 8.5, and the size 9 fits perfectly. Also, I've already worn them once in the snow, after waterproofing with Scotchguard, and they did very well. But I probably...

3.0 out of 5 stars Look like Uggs, but not Uggs
These boots really look just like Uggs, at a third of the price. However, they do not give the support that Uggs do. They serve more of an asthetic purpose than anything. For the Cleveland weather, if you treat the leather with a protectant, they keep your feet pretty dry. But I love my Uggs, and if you really live in a wintery climate, I suggest you invest in a pair...

But I probably wouldn't wear them in deep powder, because I wouldn't want to risk them. Don't pay twice as much for Uggs. These are just as cozy and made of the same stuff. I'm getting another pair!

4.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as Ugg Australia, and be careful with the size!, March 26, 2007
By
el beanio (Manchester, England) - See all my reviews
When I bought a pair of these boots I ended up with the wrong size because they come out A LOT smaller than an Ugg Australia Classic or Ultra boot. I would advise anybody considering these boots to BUY TRUE TO SIZE NOT DOWN ONE SIZE.

As for the quality of these boots, this is my edited review after wearing them for a bit, and I have to say, maybe it's partially my leg and foot shape, but they don't fit half as snugly and comfortably as Ugg Australia boots. The larger size was too big for me, so I can't actually wear any size of these boots comfortable (US7 too small US8 too big!), they may be more suited to folk with wide feet and sturdy ankles.

I am a complete Ugg Australia convert now, have two pairs and looking to buy two more. Much as I hate to jump on a bandwagon, Ugg Australia boots are something special, and these Bearpaw boots, while not badly made, feel much stiffer and not like a second skin like Ugg Australia boots - not in the same league, I'd advise to pay the extra, especially if you are of petite/skinny build.

To enable comparison to the 'equivalent' UA Ultra Tall boots, I have added a product link:

It's hard to find flat heeled boots that are comfortable and stylish, but these certainly fit the bill. Great boots, wonderfully comfortable!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great buy! stop looking! these are the ones to buy!, March 22, 2009

I want to let people know that I am not going to compare with Uggs Australian boots that are made in China by the way. I just could not find my size in Uggs so I started to look online and came across these BEARPAW. I ordered them and they were here super fast! I thought the mail man was superman!, but due to the circumference of my calves, the 12" ones are kind of high and narrow at the top and my calves didn't fit the boot all the way up. I hope you can understand what I mean. Next, I call to return the boots and the gentleman over the phone recommends me the same type of boot I ordered but 8" high instead. PERFECT!!! Very cozy, they feel wonderful. I am size 7.5 sometimes 7... Order them 7 and wear them with low cut Knit socks, very nice comfort feeling. I also learn that they are boots for sale (other than bearpaw) that are made for SUPER WIDE CALF circumference with a range of 18 1/2" plus carf knee high boots with a 15" high shaft. They can be special for women of my nature. At this point Bearpaw cover my necessity, the 8" are great!

The weather down here can be cold but pretty much is in the 60's and notice I wear these boots almost everyday. I am considering buying them in another color. I am not curious anymore about the expensive ones; I don't see the necessity, unless you just want the fashion and blah blah blah.
I love my bearpaw! I am sharing pictures!
Good luck and I hope it helps my comment

4.0 out of 5 stars Order a size bigger!!, September 13, 2009
I usually wear a size 6 1/2 or 7, so I ordered the size 7. It wasn't super small, but at the back of the ankle the boot curves in and was rubbing my ankle and my toe just barely touched the end. If I pushed my foot all the way to the back, it would fit my foot, but there was no way my foot would stay that far back in the boot and it would have given me a blister if I tried. Not near as comfortable as I had heard they were. But I do think a size 8 would have been great. I wanted to be able to roll the top of the boot down to show the fur, but when I did, it showed creases of white where the fur was attached to the boot in pieces. This was the main reason I returned this item. It is slightly tight around the calves, so if you have large calves you may want to get a shorter boot. All in all, I liked the boot, but with the defect in the fur and the size being a little small, I had to return it. So next time I will order a size 8 and get the 10" because the 12" was just too tall for the look I'm going for.

For the Cleveland weather, if you treat the leather with a protectant, they keep your feet pretty dry. But I love my Uggs, and if you really live in a wintery climate, I suggest you invest in a pair of Uggs when having to truck around in the snow. But considering the price of these, I'm not disappointed.

Beware - these boots are not true to size. They are at least 1 size smaller than the equivalent standard US shoe size.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not so good, October 2, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Reviews I have read on this product were good. I liked the price so ordered a pair. The boots came and the fit was horrible! I have rather athletic calves and the boots were too narrow to fit. I had a skinny friend try them on and she had the same issue.
Would NOT buy this brand again.

5.0 out of 5 stars AWESOME, January 17, 2008
These boots are awesome. They are really comfy and toasty! The only thing is that they recommend (because they only come in whole sizes) that you round up. I am a 7 1/2 so I got the 8 and I think they are a little too big, but if you wear a heavy sock its okay. I had a problem tripping over my own feet the first time I wore them, but the comfort far out-weighed that issue:-) All I can say is why would you pay $200 or more for Uggs when you can buy these?

5.0 out of 5 stars Great and Cute!!, March 8, 2010

They fit perfectly although they make your feet look smaller, feel like soft slippers and look great! Yes by half size to one size up if you don't like your shoes to fit exact~I wear a size 8 and they fit just perfectly! I am getting another pair for my daughter~They are better than the uggs due to the durable sole and not that sloth look uggs give, plus the price is great for the boot~LOVE' EM...great boot
