"My first pair of these. Nice to find a pair of warm indoor/outdoor leather slippers with an ARCH support which is the main reason I purchased. Good for people with plantar fasciitis. I would purchase this brand again. (What is with so many American shoes NOT having good arch supports?! Seems one has to buy European shoes to get good foot support.)" I wear an 8 1/2 - 9 medium width and the 9s were perfect for me.

Some of the things I like about these moccasins is that the shoelace tie stays tied (have had some with leather or vinyl ties that were forever coming undone). I also like the soles, the rubber comes up the side a bit so I can run outside even if the ground is wet. I think they're really comfortable, but there is no arch support. I am a perfect 9.5 medium, so I ordered down to size 9 and they fit well, probably because they're made kind of wide. They're very warm, and since the sheepskin will wick moisture, you can wear them without socks and your feet won't sweat.

Now a few things I don't like. I wore them for 1 hour and already there was about a 5" piece of thread hanging out of the area where the rubber sole is sewn onto the suede. I had to triple-knot it and trim it off so it didn't continue to unravel. The other problem I see is that the sheepskin comes out in little pieces. There are little balls of it all over my house. I have a pair of Emu boots that are also sheepskin, and actually cost less than these slippers, and it seems like the fur on the Emus is attached to the skin. It doesn't come out. But these are almost like they took the fur and just glued it into the footbed or something. For this reason I don't foresee these lasting more than a season. The lining will be all gone. Which is disappointing because if I wanted a pair of slippers for one winter, I would have just bought a $9 pair. Was hoping to get 2-3 years out of them. Well see, but I can already see a good deterioration of the wool lining, and I've only worn them for a week.
Update 2/1/13: It's been a few months and these slippers are ready for the garbage can. I changed my rating to 1 star because I can't believe for what I paid for these, they did not last the winter.

These moccasins are the best pair that you will ever find. They are super comfy, extremely warm, and very durable. I've had mine for about a year now and they've been through every kind of weather imaginable. Treat yourself and get these shoes - you won't regret it!

I have been buying bearpaw boots for years now and I absolutely swear by them. I came across these moccasins a few weeks ago and decided to try them. I have not been disappointed! They are so comfortable, stylish, and warm! I bought the charcoal thinking it was grey but it looks more blue in the sunlight. So that is the only thing i would warn about. Bearpaw products are the best. i bought my mother and boyfriend each a pair of bearpaw moccasins! I highly recommend this product!

I got these as a birthday gift. They are much pricier than what I would have spent on myself, but I am so glad that I got them. I love them! They are really comfy and extra cute! They look like they are made really well and will be around for a long time :)

3/6/12 - So the threading in the tongue is coming out :( I wanted to just exchange them for a new pair, but they were not purchased through Amazon, so now I have to send them back to Shoe Surfing.com, who is then going to send them back to the manufacturer and who knows when I'll get a replacement pair. I'm half way debating on just returning them all together. They cost too much to be falling apart in less than one month of wear. I'm also annoyed with the sleuth work I had to do this morning to find out how to exchange them. Bummer :(

6/13/12 - Second pair, totally falling apart. I am so mad about this. These are expensive and totally NOT WORTH IT. This time the stitching is coming undone that holds the entire shoe together. What a disappointment.

I was looking for a slipper like the ones that LL Bean sells, but with sheepskin instead of 'faux fur' lining. Well, these are in some ways better and in some ways not so great. Unfortunately for me the 'not so great' bits are showstoppers. Here's the review:

    Pro's:

These definitely are sheepskin lined. Wonderful, soft and fluffy.
The sole is far better than the LL Bean slipper in that the stitching is higher up so less likely to get worn and fail (requiring shoe goo).

    Con's:

    NO arch support at all.
The sole, while rugged is not at all flexible exacerbating the lack of arch support.
    They run a bit small (I take a 9 - 9 1/2 women's. I bought a 10 and it just barely fits.)
Kinda klunky looking, although this is no showstopper. They are slippers.

Because it is advertised as having an arch support and clearly does not, they are going back. They are simply too uncomfortable to wear. I certainly COULD buy a Dr. Scholes support, but doesn't that just invalidate the whole idea of having a lovely sheepskin lining? Sure it does.

I love these with a red-hot love. I have the black with the black insides. They are warm and comfortable. I find them to be running true to every other shoe I wear. I wear a 9 in heels, I wear a 9 in tennis shoes, I wear a 9 in Bearpaw/EMU/UGG's and I wear a 9 in these. Can't find a thing to say about them wrong, and I don't even work for the company!
