I had orderd these boots and i live in the Netherlands. They had caught the package at customs, so with shipment cost and tax and the courier company wanted also 17 euro for handeling at custom they cost me 102 euro (145 u.s.dollar). But i have to say they are so beautiful and differend, that they where worth the money. Here in the Netherlands i have never seen them. Very thick sheepskin footbed, feels nice with bare feet. The hide on the foot part is shiny (i like that) and not to soft so you dont hurt youre toe's so fast if you hit something. For me they were the right size i have 41 and that is in the U.S. size 10, it fit perfect. The only bad thing is that my dog is affraid of my boots.

My parents treat my family to Christmas in Vail each year. I have always admired, by far, the gorgeous fur boots that the wealthy sport on the mountain. Since I was a child, I wanted a pair of my own...

I have searched the web for years to find a pair that we could budget for - that look like the $350+ boots I coveted. I was excited when I saw these! However, due to the review that was posted, I was worried about the quality when I ordered them.

When they arrived, I was so relieved! The feathers do not appear to easily fall off as the other review stated. The boots are top quality. I am very fussy. This actually is the first review I am inspired to take the time to write. I wear an 8 1/2 and ordered a 9, it is a perfect fit!

Comfortable and stylish! Totally LOVE them! Now when I am skiing with my family over the holiday I can pretend to be one of the wealthy trophy wives for the week! Ha!

These boots are extremely attractive and warm. Other buyers thought that they ran small but they are true to size but not wide in the ankle area which keeps them snug and easy to walk in. You only need to wear a ultra thin sock as they are so very warm. They arrived quicker than any order I have ever placed and it was even during the Holidays. I already own these boots but ordered another pair for a gift.

Wanted boots like this since I was a little girl--watching the rich ladies wear them apres ski (just like one other reviewer) NEVER could afford them. Worried about quality--hadn't heard of Bearpaw Co. Not only are they delightfully bohemian they feel better than any SLIPPER I've ever worn. I am a Ski Patroller. I did a search and rescue mission in Upstate NY in late January. I went through thistles and frozen mud and prickers and rocky gullys for two solid days. I got home, brushed the dried mud from the goatskin, cleaned the rubber soles and sides and they still look brand new! Waterproof, cold proof and they are so darned cute! Also, when I read reviews I saw many ppl complain about the fit. My feet are a size 7 and I wanted an 8 bec reviews said to buy one size bigger for bulky socks. I took the chance on the 7--it's all they had. I'm glad I didn't get the bigger size. My feet are WIDE---no problem! My calves are athletic but the boot gave way. The photo does not show how beautifully cushy the lining is above the ankles...mmmmmmm. Nor does it show that you sink into about an inch of sheepskin luxury in the footbeds. One reviewer was negative about the feathers possibly giving out??? Not through the thistles and prickers they didn't. One crazy dieter friend said she wouldn't try them because they MIGHT MAKE HER FEET LOOK FAT!!(??) Can you imagine how impossibly cute my legs look? FAT FEET NOT! Yes! I AM a tough Ski Patroller who does difficult search and rescue and enjoys having cute legs--tough! BEARPAW: Make more for next season--I'd like a brown pair! ;-)

I was in search of a furry-type of light colored boot. I had my heart set on the UGG sheepskin boots, but came across these BEARPAW boots, while searching. I am so happy that I found these boots! I am very particular when it comes to boots and shoes and very skeptical to try out a new brand. I read all the reviews and thought I'd give them a try. When I received them, I opened them in front of my husband (he thought I was getting the UGG boots that I wanted) and both of us were so excited! I absolutely love them! and my husband thought they were so cool looking! Not to mention, he was even happier when he heard that these boots actually cost less then the UGG boots. There are conflicting reviews on these boots, so here are a couple of thoughts that might help with your decision to purchase. I ordered the chestnut color and that color seems to go with everything. I wear a size 6 in UGGS, but range size 6-6 1/2 in regular shoes, but I always buy size 7 in sneakers, to allow for sock room...so I went with my gut and ordered these in size 7. They are the perfect size! I can wear them with or without socks, since there is just enough toe room. I am not sure what people meant, when they said that they couldn't get into them because they are too narrow, if you put them on like any other boot (sliding your foot in, while pulling up) then you shouldn't have a problem...mine slid right on with no issues. They are very well made and I liked that they have more of a stronger structure than my UGG boots. One more thing, you will definitely have people checking your BEARPAWS out! So, make sure your ready to work it, in these boots! lol.. All I know is that when I put these boots on with my skinny jeans, my husband saw me and said I looked like a hot little snow bunny! Mission complete! I'm back here writing a review, because I decided to get these babies in black and white too! I don't think I'll be returning to my UGGS anytime soon! I LOVE MY BEARPAWS!! ;)

First of all, I am an avid Amazon shopper, but I'm pretty sure that this is the first review I was compelled to write. I got these boots a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely LOVE them!! If ONLY Bearpaw was able to keep up with the demand and had enough of these in size 9 rust or chestnut!! I'd gladly get another pair... Alas!

Regarding the feathers -- they look very cute, but do shed a little. I don't find this to be so terrible, since there are enough on the boots to last a long time. Two [small] downsides: 1) the opening IS a bit narrow. I don't have wide calves, but it IS a bit of a tight squeeze. I personally don't mind this because I'd rather have a tight-fitting boot than boots full of snow, come winter. I'd suggest you get either narrow jeans or wear these with thick stockings, or something. 2) Do not wear these without socks; at least not the black ones. There will be some dye residue on your soles, if you do that. (Speaking from experience here.

These boots look and feel VERY durable. I am not sure how they will do with all the salt/deicing chemicals that are sprinkled on the sidewalks during winter, but the soles are thick, strong, and WELL-ATTACHED, which is very, very important.

Finally, I thought it funny that someone wrote that their dog was afraid of the boots... :-) :-) :-) Until my own dog freaked out looking at my pair standing by the door. I had to "introduce" them by pulling my medium-sized, beagle/hound mix coward out from under the dining room table and holding her by her collar while sloooowly bringing the boots up to her nose.

All in all, I recommend these highly. They're a great buy, especially for this very modest price.

the item is very stylish, however if you like room space in your shoe order a size up. another thing, eventhough the feathers are nice they may fall off. other than that i am happy with my purchase, these boots are a one of a kind.

I love these boot! They are very warm, beautiful and comfortable! I do agree with previous reviews that they are tight when you first put them on. I wear a size 8 shoe and 8 1/2 in boots. I bought a size 9 and they fit perfect. The first 3 or 4 times I put them on they were very tight to get on and off, but after that they loosened up and now are perfect. I have gotten many compliments on them. I wore them to the mall and my feet were so HOT I couldn't wait to take them off. You will love these if you give them a few days to break them in.

I ordered these boots a few days ago and received them yesterday. I have to say that they are the cutest winter boots Ive worn in the past several years. They exceed my expectations and are super cute and comfy. I ordered a size seven, which I usually wear a size six and a half but the sevens are a perfect fit. I love them very much and highly recommend them to anyone. A super value for the price and far better than what I expected. Love them. :)

My brother sent me an Amazon gift card for my birthday. So I decided to splurge and buy something I really really wanted to treat myself. I saw these boots and after reading reviews thought they looked pretty great. I have always been a firm believer in wool socks for keeping feet warm and comfortable, so I thought what could be better than to have shearling lining?
However, I have had foot surgery and have arthritis in my feet. I have a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable. I have wide toes, a narrow heel and need good arch support. I wear 9&1/2 wide,39 or 40 in Birki's, and 41 in Dansko. I was concerned that these boots would not be wide enough and that they may not have good enough arch support. I also had seen some of the comments about the calf not being wide enough. I though I might have to send them back. There were so many good reviews that I decided to take the risk. I ordered size 10 which is a half size larger than usual.
When they came and I tried them on, my feet thought they had died and gone to heaven! I am so psyched! These boots are awesome! The fit is perfect for me. I am tall, big boned & overweight, but they fit my calves fine and I have room to tuck straight leg jeans in. The arch support is good, it could be a tad higher for my sake, but it is enough to be comfortable in. I can wear them with or without socks. I recommend without as the shearling padding really cuddles your feet. The goat fur is absolutely gorgeous and so practical. I ordered black and the fur is sleek black with beautiful silvery highlights. The pheasant feathers are well secured and help them to complement brown color scheme also. The soles are thick and well made.
The day i got them,it was pouring down rain. I put them on, went outside and tromped around in the yard. My feet stayed dry and comfortable. I wore them all the rest of the day and when it came time to go to bed, I almost slept in them! Thanks Bearpaw!
