I really wanted some UGG boots, but like many, I couldn't afford them. These boots are good for the price. They look great and are very soft (just like the other brand or better, in my opinion). They are comfortable, except there is a very uncomfortable friction on the back side of my ankle. It is weird and was even painful the first time a wore them. Now I wear them with very plush socks and it is much better. But note that I actually have this issue with almost all shoes, so it is unlikely the boots fault ;)I wear a 9-9 1/2 and ordered a nine. My toe hit the very end of the boot and I thought about sending them back for size and discomfort reasons. I am glad that I chose to keep them because they just needed to be broken in a bit. I got chocolate and the color is dark and rich, very nice. High quality, good support, perfect hight(I am 5'10") for me; the shorter ones would look strange on someone this tall( they hit about 3-4" below knee). I would recommend these boots:)

Very snug and comfy. No need to spend all that money on an Ugg when this boot is just as good.
Make sure to purchase a half size or full size smaller than normal because these boots tend to expand after long use.

These boots are VERY warm and they are VERY comfortable. I am unwilling to spend $180 on a pair of Uggs, so I figured these would be a good option. I went to the store to compare these to Uggs. In all honesty the only difference I noticed was in the softness of the Ugg suede. The Ugg suede is much much softer and more pliable, hence Ugg owners saying these are not as comfortable. The fur lining pretty much feels the same. I actually preferred the Bearpaw fur a little more. These boots are heavier than Uggs as well. However, for the price of $50, I really cannot complain much. My only complaint is that these boots for some reason are quite difficult to put on and take off--probably due to the firmness of the suede. In addition, they are a bit difficult to roll down again due to the firmness of the suede. In regards to sizing, if you are a 1/2 size, order down!!! I debated back and forth with this. I even went into a store that had the Bearpaws and I tried both the 8 and 9 bc I am an 8 1/2. When you try them on, the 8 will definitely FEEL snug due to the plushness of the fur, but they absolutely do stretch. The 9 was just too big. If you are thinking to order up bc you want to wear thick socks---DON'T!!! You absolutely do not need thick socks with these boots. I HATE COLD WEATHER WITH A PASSION! I wore these boots with sweater tights and I was ROASTING; it gets very hot inside of them. I understand now why Aussies actually wear these types of boots without socks. I have read reviews about the soles of these boots cracking or holes in the heels, but I just don't see that happening. Also, a lot of young girls that wear these boots have a tendency to drag their feet like crazy, so that is probably why the boots wear down so quickly.

I Was sent one faded & very ugly greyish bwn boot & one dk.chocolate boot. They didn't match AT ALL. Box was beat up & had orange clearance stickers on it. These were an older boot style w/ bearpaw on back of heel instead of newer one w/ the words bearpaw on heel. The fur inside boot was scratchy feeling, not soft. VERY unhappy w/ purchase & Amazon has the nerve to tell me I can return it (on my dime)?? I don't think so. Wouldn't take a chance w/ the company virtual Exchanges again.

I am on my second pair of Bear Paw boots, and it has been very frustrating. I bought my first pair last year, and within a month, the soles of each boot started to separate from the boot. There were actually holes on the bottom of my boots where snow/water could get in. I returned them and exchanged them for a new pair. I have not even had my new pair for a full season, and they are already doing the same thing. Although these boots are very comfortable and warm, I feel that I did not get my money's worth because they are not durable.

I received my chocolate colored BEARPAWs today, and I am so in love! I refuse to pay the hundreds of dollars for "the" brand, but wanted something that was sturdy and warm and comfy, and I found exactly that. I am a size 8 and ordered accordingy to my true size, and barefoot they fit PERFECTLY. So warm and comfy. I love the height of this boot. I am 5'5" and these boots cover my calves. The color is rich and the suede is so soft. The lining inside is so so soft and feels so nice with my barefeet.

They are stiff at first, but I expected that. They simply need to be broken in a little.

I would really like to waterproof them, but I am afraid of ruining my new beautiful boots. If you happen to have a suggestion I'd certainly appreciate it!! I believe you can comment on my review...

I would absolutely recomend these boots to my friends, family... and pretty much anyone I meet who wants a pair of this type of boot. :)

I just got my chocolate brown 13 inch tall Bearpaws this afternoon and I must say it is a nice boot...A bit snug for my taste but I'll wear them with sock liners and it will be just fine. Great with chocolate brown leggings and black leggings with a big comfy sweater. I look forward to wearing these to work tomorrow.

My feet were freezing all winter until I got these boots.I should have gotten a size bigger as they are cut a little small.They are very warm though and I went and got a brown pair also.

I really love these boots. I just got them and all I can say is Buy, Buy, Buy! they are without doubt among the most comfortable winter boots i've ever had. they're completely sheep lined and very warm even with out socks. I really wanted a great pair of winter boots, but I'm not for the Ugg Price tag, so I took a gamble on Bearpaw. I made the right choice. These boots will get plenty wear. I'm a size 11.5 and the 12 fit like a glove!

The inside of the boots does not feel like EMU, the layer of fur is not thick enough. There seems to be some problem with my boots because the sole is not flat inside on the left side. It feels like my socks are folded under my left foot. Then again, for this price, I can't ask for more.

Also, I ordered 1/2 size up (I'm a 7 1/2 and I ordered 8) but it's too loose. I am dragging the heels of the boots as I walk all the time. Not sure if 7 will be too small either, but it seems that it could stretch a little. So my advice is get 1/2 size down instead of up. I'm 5'7" and rather skinny, so the calf part keeps slipping down as I walk, makes the dragging of heels even worse. I always have to lift my feet very high above the ground as I walk, which is tiring. I might just return it for a size 7 instead and hope the dragging would improve.
