These slippers are thick, fuzzy, and very warm. The cuff folds up to keep your ankles as cozy as your toes! They have rubber, non-slip bottoms so that you can go out for the Sunday paper without having to put on your shoes. The price is more than reasonable for this much quality; not to mention, having a choice of lovely, feminine colors. I would recommend these to any one.

This shearling bootie feels good and looks good.It has a flexible, rubberized sole, which works well for running outside quickly. However I have only worn it for less than a month and bits and pieces of the shearling are coming off the cuff. Already there is about a one inch "bald spot" and I am seriously considering returning them. I can't imagine they will last very long.

My sister absolutely loves these slippers. I bought her a pair for Christmas over a year ago and she wore holes through the bottoms by the time this year came around. We wear the same shoe size so I had tried them on beforehand to make sure they were the right size and found they were amazingly comfortable.I decided to replace the slippers for her birthday this year. I work at a shoe store and know that the sizes can change from year to year so I tried on the new ones to make sure the size still worked. The size was fine but I noticed the inside felt a lot less fluffy than the original pair. That being said, I have a feeling these ones will wear out faster than the other pair and it's $50-$60 to replace them every time. Oddly enough, for Christmas she decided to get me a pair as well so I could see what all the fuss was about. Instead of ordering online she got the same exact pair at a sporting goods store on sale for $20. They do keep my feet very warm and they are comfortable but I don't think I would have ever paid $50-$60 for my own pair.

The slippers are ultra comfortable and true to size. The workmanship is good. They have one down-side: The black coloring rubs off onto your feet and/or socks. After I take these slippers off, it looks like I've been outside barefoot all day. They need to make the dye permanent so it doens't bleed onto clothing or skin.

I wear my bearpaw 402 booties throughout the fall/winter/early spring in Pa. I constantly had cold hands/feet. Now I only have cold hands. Yes, they are very warm and comfy and cozy for a while. However, I noticed this year the inside bottoms have worn through--down to the sole at some spots so they aren't as comfy any longer; I've only had these for 2 years. Maybe it's because I am a work at home mother and I wear my slippers all day some days in the house. I don't know. I thought that paying about $40 for a pair of slippers I wouldn't have to replace them so soon. I've had cheap slippers last me 3-5 years but they were not as warm and toasty. My pair will probably last me through this winter/early spring, but I've already started to look for a replacement for next winter. I'm not 100% sure I'll go back to these unless I can find a great price on them.

Best Slippers Ever!,

Bearpaw slippers are the best! They are a bit pricey, but my last pair lasted about 8 years, so overall a good buy. Having two dogs that need to go out during the rainy season in Washington state, which is every season, these slippers keep my feet warm and dry. The rubber bottoms come up the sides high enough that I can walk through about 1" of water without getting wet. Absolutely, the best slippers ever!

I had owned my previous pair of Bearpaw Traditional slippers for about 25 years. They were finally wearing out on the inside. So I got a new pair! They are the warmest, most comfortable slippers I have ever owned. Fleece lining is so soft; bootie comes up around the ankle for extra warmth. They are still easy to get on. Sole is perfect for walking out to the mailbox. |
