The Sickness Is Highly Contagious As with all of the Thomas Hauser books I've read - I loved this one. This is as fantastic a book - and in some respects a continuation of A Year At The Fights. This book has pretty much the same winning formula of Hauser articles writen about everyone and everything involved in boxing - stories...

Another fine book by author,Thomas Hauser Short stories from many of his Internet boxing columns.Written with insight and feeling by a knowledgeable and compassionate boxing fan.

The Sickness Is Highly Contagious
As with all of the Thomas Hauser books I've read - I loved this one. This is as fantastic a book - and in some respects a continuation of A Year At The Fights. This book has pretty much the same winning formula of Hauser articles writen about everyone and everything involved in boxing - stories range from Ali to an interview with the ring itself - yes - the ring itself! Hauser is such an outstanding writer and is magnificently adept at writing about the sport and the sweet science that is boxing. This is such an enjoyable and pleasurable read. I actually laughed out loud reading the last few articles written about Tyson. I'm a huge Tyson fan and usually get aggravated at cheap shots at Tyson, but these weren't cheap shots and I have to admit REALLY funny! After reading the last page - closing the book, putting it down and just wanting more of this beautiful sickness! Read this book! Mr. Hauser - keep writing these!
